- The test mule seems to carry the same design as the last-gen model
- To use the new J-platform motor, same as the Meteor 350 and Classic 350
- To be positioned between the upcoming Hunter 350 and the current Classic 350
Royal Enfield is on a roll with its launch plans laid out for the next few years. Of the many models in the pipeline, the upcoming Royal Enfield Bullet 350 has now been spotted testing.
Visually, the test mule resembles the last-gen Bullet 350. It gets the same retro barebone structure, round halogen headlight flanked by bulb pilot lights above and bulb indicators below. The rider triangle too seems pretty relaxed, just like any commuter’s.
It makes sense for the manufacturer to carry forward the same design and revive the Bullet moniker given its past success and sentimental value for the buyers.
We expect Royal Enfield to plonk in the same J-series motor in the Bullet 350 as well. It’s already being used in the Classic 350 and Meteor 350, tuned to belt out 20.2bhp and 27Nm. The underpinnings are pretty simple – conventional front forks and twin rear shocks. Braking hardware consists of a front disc and a rear drum unit. Even the spoke wheels seem to be retained.
Royal Enfield could make an official announcement sometime during the first half of 2023. The new Bullet 350 could cost a few thousand rupees less than the Classic 350 and will be the second most affordable model in the brand’s lineup.
