- Updated Royal Enfield Bullet 350 likely to be launched on 5 August, 2022
- Likely to use Meteor 350-sourced 349cc engine
- Expected to arrive at a premium price tag over its predecessor
Royal Enfield is expected to announce the launch of the updated Bullet 350 in the Indian market tomorrow. A teaser video released by Royal Enfield on its social media platforms had the text ‘Bullet Meri Jaan’ – a famous marketing tagline with the date (05-08-2022) in the background.
The latest iteration of the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will be based on the company’s J-platform. This platform is already used on the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and the Meteor 350. The styling cues will remain similar to the outgoing version and the updated Bullet 350 will continue to pack a round headlight, a curvy fuel tank, a flat handlebar, single-sided exhaust canister, and wire-spoke wheels.
The specifications are likely to be identical to the Royal Enfield Meteor 350. Thus, the updated Bullet 350 would most likely get the 349cc, single-cylinder engine. This motor is tuned to belt out 20.2bhp and 27Nm on the Meteor 350 and we expect to see similar power and torque output numbers on the new Bullet 350 as well.
All these updates should come at a premium price tag and we expect the updated Bullet 350 to retail at a marginally higher ex-showroom price than its predecessor. The outgoing version, for reference, is available between Rs 1,47,999 and Rs 1,63,338. The launch of the updated Bullet 350 will be followed by Royal Enfield’s newest motorcycle, the Hunter 350.
All prices are ex-showroom Delhi
