Hero MotoCorp’s electric two-wheeler vertical, Vida has commenced the deliveries of its first electric scooter, the Vida V1 in Bangalore. The vehicles were handed over to their respective owners at the company’s experience centre which is located at Vittal Mallya Road in Bangalore. Meanwhile, the company will soon commence operations in Delhi and Jaipur.
The company currently offers two variants of the electric scooter – V1 Plus and V1 Pro. The two variants are distinguishable through the colour options, battery capacity, and acceleration timing. The 0-40kmph acceleration time for the Plus and the Pro variants stands at 3.4 seconds and 3.2 seconds, respectively.
Further, the Pro variant comes with a 3.94kWh battery pack while the Plus version gets a 3.44kWh battery pack. Meanwhile, both scooters boast a claimed top speed of 80kmph and get four ride modes – Eco, Ride, Sport, and User Customisable.
The Vida V1 Plus is available in three colours – Matte White, Matte Sports Red, and Gloss Black. The Pro version, in comparison, will be sold in four paint options – Matte White, Matte Sports Red, Gloss Black, and the additional Matte Abrax Orange.
