Yamaha Motor India has reported a 30.35 per cent increase in their October sales. The company sold 64,552 units as compared to 49,522 units in the corresponding month last year.
The Japanese manufacturer’s domestic sales increased by 32 per cent at 51,808 units as compared to the 39,368 units in the same month last year. In the export markets, Yamaha sold 12,744 units during October 2013, as compared to 10,154 units in the same month last year, registering a growth of 25.5 per cent.
The company had announced that they will be concentrating more on the scooter segment and will continue to do so till 2015. They haven’t disclosed the exact sales numbers of each models but we can expect most of their sales to come from Yamaha Ray and the Ray Z.
