We are bracing ourselves for a lot of exciting two-wheeler launches that are scheduled to take place in the coming days. While the last week witnessed just one new launch, all the other updates were about upcoming products. In case you aren’t aware of them yet, here’s a quick round-up of the top five bike updates from the last week.
Hero MotoCorp introduced the 2023 Xtreme 200S 4V in India with a price tag of Rs. 1.41 lakh. The 2023 edition comes equipped with a new full-digital instrument cluster complete with turn-by-turn navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, and call and SMS alerts. However, the biggest change is the inclusion of four-valves in its 199.6cc, four-valve, oil-cooled motor that produces 18.9bhp and a peak torque of 17.35Nm now.
New Royal Enfield Bullet 350 launch date
Royal Enfield is all set to launch the new Bullet 350 on 30 August. It will be powered by the brand’s J-series 349cc, single-cylinder motor with a five-speed gearbox. This is the same engine that the Chennai-based bike maker currently uses for the Classic 350, Meteor 350, and Hunter 350. Apart from that, the new Bullet will carry over a majority of its design but will get subtle cosmetic tweaks as well.
Hero Karizma XMR 210 launch date
Hero MotoCorp released a teaser video of one of its upcoming products which, we believe, is the new Karizma XMR 210. It’s slated to officially debut on 29 August, 2023. The new Karizma was spotted in production-ready form at a dealer conference in India which revealed the aggressive design of this motorcycle. The mechanical specifications, meanwhile, will include an all-new 210cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor that is expected to deliver a maximum output of 25bhp and come linked to a six-speed transmission.
Royal Enfield Bobber 350 spy shots
Royal Enfield’s upcoming Bobber 350 was spotted undergoing road tests and the spy video revealed plenty of details about the bike. This test mule was deprived of any camouflage and it sported an ape hanger handlebar, round headlight, and rear tyre hugger-mounted numberplate, taillight, and turn indicators. The test vehicle also revealed an LED headlight. The mechanical specifications will include a Classic 350-sourced J-Platform engine that makes 20.2bhp and 27Nm of peak torque.
Triumph Speed 400 waiting period
According to a few dealers, the waiting period for the new Triumph Speed 400 is between 10 weeks to 16 weeks, depending on the location. The dealers are communicating about this to the consumers who have booked the bike. But the waiting period will perhaps decrease when Bajaj expands Triumph’s dealership reach across India.
