- The new image shows its side profile
- It gets muscular fuel tank casing and split-seat
- Expected to be fully unveiled on 25 February
After Zero Motorcycles teased its upcoming electric bike at the beginning of this month, the company released a new teaser image yet again. Named as the Zero SR/F, it will boast of a naked street bike styling, as can be seen from the picture.
The previous image unveiled the SR/F’s LED headlamp, DRL, USD (upside down) forks and Pirelli tyres. Giving out more details, the new picture gives us a glimpse of the profile which consists of a muscular fuel tank casing, split-seat and a high-set tail section. The positioning of the single-piece handlebar suggests it will boast of a mildly aggressive riding stance.
Zero Motorcycles hasn’t revealed any details about the powertrain yet. However, reports claim that it might get a 20kWh battery pack capable of producing around 118bhp of peak power. This can be believed considering the description of the company’s new teaser video which says, ‘the SR/F provides effortlessly powerful experience in the naked street bike category.’ Moreover, it is also expected to come with a host of electronic features such as a TFT instrument cluster and cornering ABS.
Zero Motorcycles is expected to unveil the SR/F on 25 February 2019. As far as its India entry is concerned, the company has no plans of venturing into the Indian market anytime soon.
