It's quiet on the expensive segment as per the specifications. But it's a killer machine. The road presence is amazing and has a great effect of aura on the people. The mileage is average (approx. 26kmpl). But totally disappointed by the services available at my place. Overall my experience is very good since it is one of my dream bike

i was riding the bike for 9-10 months but only problem i have faced is tube tyres, it creates very big problems while i ride it for 100-200 km then the bike tyre got punctured and i have to wait for in highway for 1-2 hour till the mechanic doesn't came the repair it, the RE should improve its quality upon its plastic parts like its wind shield.

nice bike but comparing with 390 not so good.but as an off roader it's a great decision to get a Himalayan .if you want in both roads go for himalayan.both bikes have heating issues.but trust me it will be a great experience.if you are deciding to buy this Himalayan as an off roader you will be more comfortable.

Ultimate power as well and great handling in rough road you can even ride in the woods .This machine never stop until you .This is the great comfort for long tour as the mileage is good . The riding experience is amazing the look is good and the performance is good in tour in city ride it is not great the pros are good riding comfort and handling is great .And taking about cons not much great for city rides and well as the vibration on high rpm

Himalayan impressed me a lot. A as soon as we get on the bike it's such a good seating position and commanding stance taht I just fell in love with this bike. There are many bikes in this price range but nothing cannot match the build quality and I am just 5' 3 inches and I am able to ride it. Infact its of the lowest seat height of 800mm for a adventure tourer. comfort of Himalayan for sure.
Showroom guys are frauds they cheat you please be careful, check your vehicle before paying money, service of royal enfield is not much to comment about obviously all know how it is better. Complete your free service and go for local mechanics near you. Pathetic service, will have spend the whole day there. yes some issues are there but can be rectified and no other person should have to live with it.
Pros.
Comfort, mileage average 30,torque capacity and off roading capability.
Cons.
Weight, service and spare parts availability, tubed tyre, some small poor defects

1. I purchased the bike directly from the company showroom in Mumbai. The person who was attending to me had explained to me properly of bike all the pros and cons.
2. It is a pleasure riding the bike. One shall have better experience riding this bike in hilly areas. The name itself says Himalayan Bike. People prefer to ride this bike when they are on a tour of Leh and Ladakh.
3. Pros of the bike are, it does not have a kick start and that secondly height of the bike is more.

Buying experience was good. Riding this bike gives me feel like i can conquer every single road and mountain in the earth. Looks are jaw dropping. And if we talk about performance the 411 cc sohc engine do it's work perfectly. It is low in maintenance and servicing facility in re showrooms are very best . This bike have only one cons if i say and it is not having abs. Rear drum breaks are so poor and weak. Rear breaks doesn't work diligently. If re add abs in himalayan then it will become the best on road bike in India having no cons.

The bike was very easy to ride smooth gear shifting and nice working braking system. When you see this bike for first time you will think by looking at the bike that it is very big bike and it not comfortable to ride for everyone but ones you ride this bike you that you are sitting on horse and feel royal to ride it.
