    The GOOD:
    1. Baby Bonneville
    2. Initial power delivery till 60KMPH
    3. Nice exhaust note
    4. Striking colors
    5. Although the headlight is halogen, the throw and spread are very good.
    6. Excellent paint quality of the petrol tank
    7. Excellent riding triangle with slightly rear-set foot pegs.
    8. Gears slot exactly without any jumps or missing gears.
    9. Amaron battery is provided as OEM fit.
    10. Extra fuses provided by RE in the fuse box, in case anything goes wrong with the fuses in use.
    The BAD:
    1. Lots of plastic parts that are inferior in quality (especially the headlight, and side covers)
    2. No place to keep the documentation or any stuff
    3. Inconsistent build. Especially the welding portions leave a lot to be desired
    4. No discounts and waiting period for a newly launched bike.
    5. Stock mirrors vibrate a lot during lugging and once the speed crosses 80KMPH
    Could be better:
    1. Switch gear is okay but can be improved.
    2. Feature set when compared to its peers (Ronin)
    3. Although the stock MRF looks good, it does not do justice to the bike. Need to be replaced with a grippy rear tire
    4. RE should have concealed the wiring much more effectively. (RE please copy the wiring stuff from Bonneville)
    5. In the days of LED lights, RE is still struck with Halogens.
    6. The clutch is on the heavier side and could have been lighter.
    7. Suspension should be a bit softer. I feel it is on the stiffer side
    8. Brakes are just ok.
    9. Costly accessories. – RE accessories are priced very high
    Things that will not improve:
    1. High taxes on vehicles – Governments (central and state) have collected 60K taxes in the total of 2 Lacs that I paid (on-road price).
    2. Service – Unless the technicians are paid well and we improve their dignity of work, the service will be bad. We as a society look down on the people working in services, and we get what we deserve. In addition to the technicians, the dealers also try to fleece the customers with unnecessary add-ons and extras. I do all minor repairs and fix punctures myself without depending on the service people.
    3. Quality – Companies take customers for granted, as we have useless laws protecting the customer. The quality of Hunter is just about okay. Within a week of purchase, and after riding about 150 Km, fork oil seals broke, and fork oil was leaking. The bike was with the service center for two days (none of my vehicles went to the service center so early) and with all the front dismantled and attached once again.

The Hunter 350 is an amazing bike,
I love the way it looks and sounds.
Overall its a good bike for leisure rides(15-20km)
But daily commuting is not advisable as its mileage is close to 30kmpl
I will recommend this over the yamaha mt 15 v3 because it is more comfortable as well as powerful than that

Using hunter 350 for less than 480kms. Booked next day of launch date got delivery in just 12 days. RE dealerships are now treating customers very well. Positives 1. Dual ABS - used on rainy days, back abs are a wonder I had used a back disc bike earlier and had skidding issues but back ABS is very much useful. For ppl like who are afraid to put front disc brakes on a wet road or roadside sands back ABS works like a wonder. 2. Handlebar - Easy to ride in the city, can flicker between traffic like riding an FZ. 3. Exhaust sound - Best one in this price range, no match to anything. 4. Power - Immediate throttle response and fun to drive. Negatives: 1. Heat issue - I drive within the city, and trust me after 20- 30 mins can feel warmness in my legs, since this is common in RE, not too hot but can feel warm air in traffic 2. Mud issue - During the rainy season you can see muddy roads compared to other bikes hunter 350 tends to be dirtier in front, also dirt can be observed in the backside pillion or bag if worn. They should have put tyre hugger. 3. Clutch - a little hard at first, now a little less hard.

My buying experience was amazing, the showroom staff were supportive and gave so much information about the bike, the bike ride should be on the softer side, to keep the bike well maintained.
    No heating issues.
    Enough ground clearance.
    Good road grip.
    Weigh less but provide stability.
Must buy option in this price range.
The mileage is decent it gives up to 35 kmpl.
Ride slowly, you can extend it up to 37 -40 kmpl.

  • Contender to become a great bike ruined by super stiff suspension

    Akshay

The buying experience of RE is always good, and sales urge to take test rides of all their collection.
Riding experience: at 1st the riding posture seems weird as the handlebar is a bit too far away from the rider which makes you lean ahead more than you want. But got used to it after a few weeks. performance is awesome, considering it's the same engine as Lazy Classic and Meteor. This one seems different state of tune (although it isn't) and doesn't strain on revving. Clocks 124kmph which was way above expectations, however wobbles a bit at 80kmph and then too much above 110kmph. Service experience was average may be due to the volumes. The biggest con is the super stiff rear suspension. You can feel every undulation of the road giving a jerk on every one of them, not just bad road, potholes are Pillion just refuses to sit after 10 mins. RE has intentionally cut costs on it.

The bike is comfortable everywhere, for long drives, and for city rides. As the bike is less weight than the classic and meteor, it can be easily turned everywhere while riding. And breaking is perfectly working. mainly meter console is more interesting. It visualizes all the details like gear, Time, Trip KM distance, etc.

    Harsh Gangrade

    The GOOD:
