My journey with the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 began with a seamless buying experience. The dealership was professional, making the process easy and enjoyable. Riding the Interceptor 650 was an immediate thrill. Its 648cc engine offered smooth, powerful performance, and the bike's retro design turned heads wherever I went.Performance-wise, the Interceptor excelled on highways and handled city rides with ease. The braking system was reliable, but the suspension felt stiff on rough roads, which was a slight downside on longer trips. Servicing was straightforward, with parts readily available, although maintaining the chrome fittings required extra care.The bike's pros included its powerful engine, smooth handling, and classic looks. It was versatile enough for both city commutes and long tours. Regularly lubricate the chain and adjust the suspension for comfort. Use high-octane fuel and maintain tire pressure. Smooth throttle control improves fuel efficiency. Manage engine heat in traffic, install an engine guard, and consider a custom seat for long rides. Check brake pads frequently and keep ECU software updated.

Reliable machine with good performance and mileage

My interceptor 650 bs4 (orange crush)is giving me a healthy mileage of 32-33 km/litre on highway when I am cruising at constant speed of 80-85 km/hour.While, in city mileage is somewhere from around 22-24 km/litre.1)all in all it's a very reliable machine and I personally find it most stable at speeds of 120-130 km/h.Though you start to experience heavy wind blast when you cross 100 km/h mark.2)ergonomics are excellent for 6 feet tall guy (you will get a urge to stretch your legs once in every 2 hours of continuous riding). Also seat is quite narrow but still manageable, if you are on little bit skinny side.3) front foot pegs were placed at little awkward position but after sometime you will get familiar with them and you will stop scraping your legs with them.4) stock exhaust sound is melodious. Once engine get warmed up, rumbling sound of exhaust will become more and more heavier and louder to the point that it will give you eargasm (trust me its that melodious when you ride it at correct rpms ).5) tyre grip is good giving loads of confidence at corners. also, digital fuel gauge sometimes act erratically.

650 interceptor is my love❤

Classic design, smooth power delivery, comfortable ergonomics, and extensive service network. Some riders may find it heavy, with occasional quality issues. But I love it when I get on it and its exhaust gives a feeling that non-bikes can give and I especially love to ride it in rainy seasons. If anyone wants to buy it do dont think about the cost because this bike was my dream to ride.
