Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is a cruiser bike available in 4 variants and 12 colours. The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is powered by 349.34cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 19.94 bhp and a torque of 27 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, Royal Enfield Meteor 350 comes up with anti-locking braking system. This Meteor 350 bike weighs 191 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 15 liters.

The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is a cruiser bike and the first 350cc product to be based on RE’s J-series engine platform. The motorcycle is Royal Enfield’s replacement for the Thunderbird 350. It is available in four variants and 12 colour options.

The overall styling is quintessentially cruiser-like and looks modern and nicer. The curvy design elements and dollops of chrome accents highlight its modern cruiser styling. Royal Enfield also offers many accessories to increase its overall appeal.

Powering the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is a 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that makes 20.2bhp and 27Nm of peak torque. The long-stroke engine is linked to a five-speed gearbox. The engine is known for its flat torque delivery, which makes it easy to chug along in the city or cruise on the highway.

The Meteor 350 features a semi-digital instrument cluster, tripper navigation pod, Bluetooth connectivity, and dual-channel ABS. The suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks up front and twin shock absorbers at the back. Meanwhile, the braking hardware includes single discs at both ends.

The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 goes against the Jawa 350, Honda CB350, and the Yezdi Roadster. But when it comes to the ride experience and styling, the Honda CB350 is its closest competitor.

Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Review

  • Good Things

    • 350cc engine has good mid-range torque
    • Gets navigation system
    • Comfortable for long and city rides
  • Could be Better

    • Needs higher cruising speed
    • Some vibes at higher revs
    • Top-end variant is a bit expensive

BikeWale's Take

The Meteor 350 is a perfect bike for someone who wants to do every day commuting and at the same time wants to do long distance on weekends. It offers good comfort, features and performance. Plus, with new design and vibrant colours, it looks enticing too. But the engine has some minor vibes. Plus, the bike should be doing 100kmph comfortable cruising.

Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Expert Opinion

Superb bike with a dynamic build and curve having overall solid performance. The average is a bit low but its dynamic design attracted our decision to go for this bike. The service part of the company is also well managed. Good to have such a wonderful bike, especially for young boys with good physiques.

      Meteor the king of balance

Haven't bought one but I did borrow a Meteor 350 from a friend, rode 300km without stopping through the hills at an average speed of 70kmph, and reached my destination within 6 hours. The curves were glorious, the transmission smooth as butter, the braking precise, the alignment and centre of gravity are so beautifully engineered that even steep curves at 60kmph felt like knife through butter, vibrations were minimal and the pickup was excellent. Best bike for long rides

Not worth for daily use like going to the office. Could been better with an oil-cool engine. Getting hot within half an hour of riding. Can be used for planned trips and to have fun with friends.
Default seats are not comfortable. Need to replace the same if you are a regular rider. The back suspension is also not comfortable.

I bought the Meteor 350 as my first Bike since the 650s felt a bit overpowered for a beginner. Now don't get me wrong, saying 350s are also way too big for beginners, but hear me out, I'm 6'1 and 240 lbs., Therefore This was the perfect Combo for me, I have ridden it close to 10k Km and I am planning to get an INT650 soon.

      Very poor build quality

      Very embarrassing and painful.
My Re Meteor 350 accidentally collided with a Pulsar 150 due to the sudden stopping of the Pulsar middle of the road.
My leg guard collided with the silencer of the Pulsar with no harm and scratched of Pulsar.
But my Royal Enfield Meteor 350 leg twisted like an Aluminium foil.

Waste of money on the basis of Hype

      Arindam Banerjee

Totally waste of money, my Meteor 350 has faced too many problems within 1 year, and not only me if anyone visits service centres and listens to others' problems one will find all new bikes are facing frequent wear and tear of poor quality parts.
Within 3rd service 8800 km I had to replace the disk pad, and clutch cable 2 months ago, and now I am writing sitting in the service center with a sprocket problem and many more issues.
I still have a Honda Shine 10-year-old bike with ZERO problems and very negligible wear and tear within 10 years.
Don't buy a Royal Enfield bike on hype.

They delivered within two weeks after delivery. very very worse experienced discomfort and no safety followed by overheating over vibrations and no shield provided to control heat they told me the characteristics of the bike were overheating no radiator frequent heating injuries to my leg. Looks only good other things are very very bad. Service and maintenance over the cost they created brand name only with cheap quality (crazy buyers only acceptable). Very very worst engine not engine only (furnace). No heating shield was given at the required places. No radiator was given to control heat. Overall vibrations feel full body. Poor customer care and responsibility. Cheap quality parts. More expensive with cheap quality parts. Accessories are over cost. No more extra fitting to create a comfort zone for riders. Basic accessories are over the cost. Most of all No safety. All ways creating caution. Driven parts making noises. Cheap quality bike with much more expensive. The speed limit is less reach 100 kmph more struggle.

Buying experience is very very bad. This is Thailand, not India. The dealer in Chiang Mai did not have the model wanted in stock. Went to 2 more dealers not knowing they were all under the authority of the same manager. They shipped my bike down from Chiang Rai to the wrong city. I had to go 139 km to get the bike. Rode back with the mirror loose so useless. They wanted to put on a saddle bag. But I refused it. So they had to change the bracket while I waited but did not get the mirror tight. The dealer in Chiang Mai got the bike that I wanted - though he told me it would not come here from India for four months. Riding is very nice. Love the looks. Service is poor but I knew this dealer had bad service. Cannot purchase accessories at a reasonable price. After the first service, the engine now backfires. It is slow, underpowered, and heavy. And it slips out of gear sometimes. Very dangerous in traffic to lose power. Also no Kickstarter. A bad mistake by the company to take off Kickstarter

Be very careful downshifting. Have to kick the shifter twice or hard. Very hard to get accessories

The buying experience is normal. They didn't even celebrate it but okay no complaint. Test ride and I liked the comfort, took it. Then got to know the actual facts which I didn't like. Looks normal, there's a cheaper bike like the Roadster that looks more premium than this. Lots of panel gaps, exposed wearing, and low paint quality. It really looks like handmade not machine-made made except the engine. Also looks like an elephant and performs like a bear. Any 150cc bike can surpass it in a drag race. Then they told me it's for those who enjoy riding not hunk. I can buy an Activa and enjoy riding while saving fuel. The real hero is service center guys, they want everything open doesn't matter if it's 1st or second service. They made all packages and there are no details on the bill about what that package contains. I have sent an email to Royal Enfield asking why I have been charged 2000 for 1st service when it was mentioned free. What's that tape adjustment scam and why did I need it in 1st service when me and my Tapet both were silent? Still waiting for a reply and I know they don't have any answer for this scam. I have decided to do my own service and will not visit the service center. I don't care about their warranty. Except for breaks and gear, I didn't like anything about this bike. The fuel meter shows reserve when there's a full tank. There's no rpm meter or digital speedometer. My watch has a bigger screen area than this digital meter console. A headlight is weaker than a mobile torch.
