Although Royal Enfield has been selling the Thunderbird in India since the year 2000, it was only by 2009 that the brand updated the motorcycle comprehensively by introducing the 346 cc unit construction engine (UCE) that now powers all their 350cc models.
In October 2012, Royal Enfield launched a facelifted version of the Thunderbird 350, featuring a teardrop shaped fuel tank, digital instruments and fuel gauge and a projector headlamp. Additionally, the motorcycle gets an LED tail light and a few other cosmetic enhancements.
The Thunderbird 350 uses a single cylinder, 4 stroke, Twinspark engine 19.8 bhp of power at 5,250rpm and 28Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. This air cooled unit is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. It has recently been updated with the option of ABS for a very small premium over the standard model.
The Thunderbird 350 is available in five different colours and competes with the Jawa range, UM range, and to some extent, the Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220.
Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 is available in the following colours in India.

Krish Patni
1. Very comfortable seats for rider and pillion. The riding position is also great with stretched arms.2. Includes an inbuilt backrest for the pillion.3. Matte black/stone color. Now that is what I am talking about being in a different league.4. Fancy gadgets give the feel of an upmarket cruiser. Twin disk brakes, rear adjustable gas shocks, projector headlamps, removable seats, larger fuel tank, and digital console.

TB-The Beast..

I have been using TB350 for many years for Long Distance Riding. Multiple times I have done Mumbai-Goa on TB. I just love Riding TB, it's an amazing machine. Very comfortable and reliable built quality. The only issue is spoke wheels, it's a big problem when it's punctured. Changing to mag wheels and using tubeless tires are highly recommended while going for long-distance riding.

Very good superbike, with amazing features, a riding experience, and service support very good. If you ride for a long drive with just awesome, already took for the long drive from Agra to Jaipur, Jaipur to Delhi so many times, daily good experience, you have to care for this bike because maintenance cost is a little bit more in comparison with others.

Strong Bike for a Strong Man

Owned it for about 7 years, and had many amazing experiences and memories with it. I previously owned a Bajaj Avenger and a Yamaha rx100. After a while, I wanted a stronger and more reliable bike. Only took it to service twice and that too only for minor issues. Other than that, it accelerates very well and sounds like a beast.

Thunder...Certainly not a bird!

Cool to ride. The braking could have been better! puncture of the rear tyre though not frequent is a big headache! skids if brakes are applied urgently. Good for daily commutes as well as long rides. Doesn't heat up too much in traffic. Very comfortable riding position. Not very expensive for maintenance. Overall a good bike to own!
