Second Suzuki Access 125
Chakrapani V
We owned a Suzuki Access 125 (2014 model) for nearly a decade and considered replacing it as the performance degraded and the engine started giving problems. My wife is the primary user for a daily commute of around 20 km. We shortlisted Activa 125 and Jupiter 125 other than Access 125. My wife liked Jupiter 125 due to be ease of filling petrol from the front and boot space. The showroom staff was very courteous and professional. However, when I did a test drive it had a lot of vibrations even when still. The showroom guy said it was due to the Fuel Injection technology. So, we dropped it.Second was Activa. It is well built and the price is competitive but the agent did not offer a good price for our old scooter. Also, perhaps due to the market leader position or some reason the staff interaction was very casual and unprofessional. This is the second time we have come across such a behavior. Dropped this one too.Last on our list was Access 125. We saw the models/ variants and did a test drive. The engine felt very smooth and had almost no noticeable vibrations. The agent offered the best price for the old access compared to Activa and Jupiter and we could bargain some discount (5k) as loyalty. The buying process was smooth. We could see the stock and pick the scooter of our choice. They offered to put and show the seat covers to choose the one we liked. We tried black and brown and selected brown. There are a lot of Pros and some Cons. I will highlight two major CONS that I noticed.CONS:1. FIBER body. Unlike Activa which is majority metal and Jupiter's half metal body, Access has a majority fiber body. 2. FUEL CAP: The external fuel cap of Access 125 is in the rear and must be fully removed to fill the petrol :( There is no remote unlock not press to close. (My father's TVS Wego 2013 model has external filling and push to close facility). Suzuki has failed or deliberately not included this feature when the same exists in Avenis. In my opinion, all the scooters are more or less the same. Just some factors we should keep in mind are what are our priorities and are we meeting them. Never buy to impress someone else.Drive safe and responsibly. All the best!!!

The best 125cc scooty one can buy !
Aman Siraj
After riding my old honda aviator for 7 years i finally decided to buy a new scooty as my parents didn't allow me to buy a bike.
I was looking for a scooty which is light in weight and powerful enough and doesn't looks girly , searched a lot , went showroom to showroom and finally i saw suzuki access 125 special edition ( matte black) love at first sight !
Took a test ride , and believe me the difference between this and my old scooty was more drastic than anything you name. I bought the scooty and it's been 4 months this scooty is great , servicing is free for 2 years so no worries :d
I compared it with my friends scooty's too but none of them could stand against mine :)

Very bad experience. Had to visit the service center every 500 km. So many defects. Every time had to change spare parts and servicing cost is also very high. Service center people are looting the people in the name of service. There is a technological defect in fi system. The engine gets off so frequently. Need to relook into the engine.

I purchased this scooter for daily use to office which is approx 28 km one side . Pickup of the bike is not so great, acceleration is very tight. Back pain observed in long distance and traffic jams. Average is 45 to 50 kmpl. Engine makes a sound when accelerated. Brakes are good. When riding with pillion the engine performance reduces and need higher acceleration the pressure on engine can be felt.

A power pack 125 scooter with 50+ mileage in city
23 weeks ago
Gaurang Bansal
It was a very good experience to buy the Access 125. This is one of the best 125 cc scooters available in the market. I bought it for my daily commute to the office (20 km/day) and for bringing daily groceries. Access has a good mileage (~55 KMPL) and a nice pickup. We bought a base variant as we didn't find Bluetooth connectivity and sic brake option useful. The silver color is cool. we had multiple options to buy viz, activa 125, Jupiter 125, Bergmann, and ntorq but considering my height (6'1") the access suited the best. The service cost is less as compared to peers and it has a better build and ride quality. The only con that I found to date is the external fuel lid It is sometimes irritating to close after refueling as it doesn't fit easily (maybe I will be used to it after a while )

Very bad experience

Very bad experience. Had to visit the service center every 500 km. So many defects. Every time had to change spare parts and servicing cost is also very high. Service center people are looting the people in the name of service. There is a technological defect in fi system. The engine gets off so frequently. Need to relook into the engine.

Not suitable for long distance
Sahitya
I purchased this scooter for daily use to office which is approx 28 km one side . Pickup of the bike is not so great, acceleration is very tight. Back pain observed in long distance and traffic jams. Average is 45 to 50 kmpl. Engine makes a sound when accelerated. Brakes are good. When riding with pillion the engine performance reduces and need higher acceleration the pressure on engine can be felt.

A power pack 125 scooter with 50+ mileage in city

Ride it in eco mode to get maximum fuel efficiency. In base variant a green meter light tells you that you are riding in eco mode, maintain constant speed around 50 KMPH.
