Suzuki Lets Summary

The Lets is the entry-level scooter from Suzuki. Being marketed as a scooter for women, the Lets is one of the lightest scooters in the segment. This scooter is powered by SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) engine and has been on sale since June 2014.

The Lets is powered by a 110cc unit delivering 8.7bhp at 7500rpm and 9Nm at 5,500rpm. Like most of the other scooters, the engine is mated to a CVT transmission. It has telescopic oil damped suspension at the front and swing arm type suspension at the rear. The 90/100-10 section tubeless tyres are fitted at both the front and the rear, while the stopping power is provided by 120mm drum brakes. With a fuel tank capacity of 5.2 litres, the Lets can do close to 260kms in one tank full. The scooter is light with the kerb weight of 98kg and also has a decent ground clearance at 160mm. The Lets is equipped with an optional storage box and mobile charger which is becoming standard in scooters these days.

The Lets is available in four colours - Matte Grey/Matte Black, Pearl Suzuki Blue/Matte Black, Pearl Mira Red/Matte Black and Pearl Mirage White. The main competition for this Suzuki is the Honda Activa i, TVS Scooty Zest 110 and the Hero Pleasure.

      9 years running smoothly

      Utsav Chatterjee

I bought Suzuki let's mainly because of Suzuki engine performance.it's been 9 years now and after-sales service has been excellent. It runs smoothly still if you do regular servicing. the only thing which could be more is the mileage which is around 40kms now. Still, if you compare with other scooters 9 years old, this is good performance. I am looking at an electric scooter now just because I want to save fuel costs.

I have had this scooter since 2014. Traveled more than 80 kms, not only inside Bangalore, several times I have traveled to Mysore. Good pickup, no issues except minor issues sometimes. I think if serviced properly its a worth for money. The only thing is we should get a good mechanic for service. All in all good experience so far.

I had read some review about suzuki let's before i purchase it. One person wrote his experience that " this bike make too much noise in the engine and also no proper answer from dealer when he raised the problem to the dealer, " and also some major complaint about it. i thought in my mind that it may be regarding some manufacturing error may occurred. In my case the engine sound after three month looks like, very very old bike sound.I too raised the same problem to the service engineer, he humiliated me that engine means it will make sound only. The answer is not much responsible.Self start not working. Service people told that battery is too weak. We will replace it by using warranty. Only fifteen days passed. Kicker is not functioning properly. Battery also not reached till now. Each and every component completely looks like one time use.....Very worst performance.....

During the purchase on march of 15 it cost me around 60k. Till purchase, i don't know how to ride a scooty . But it's low pickup made it easy for me and i learned it on same day. Easy for fast learing. My dad was advising me for activa . But it's look was amazing it looks like a bird. Also it has the same performance like engine capacity, mileage, (more rpm) .I got five service free on suzuki service centre. My scooty till never made me in trouble. Pros: Amazing look, suspension, performance, low pickup for beginners makes it easy for you. Cons: There is only one that it sounds louder.

      Rayan Bhattacharjee

The buying experience was lot better than expected the showroom staff were quite friendly and was skilfully explaining each and every aspect of the scooter. From the first day the scooter gave me pleasure in riding and as i have ridden many other scooters i can say that it's the most easy scooty to ride and control. The looks of the scooter are fantastic and i have the metallic grey colour for which you will surely fall for. The performance of the scooty is good as it has a top speed of 93 as tested by me and also a fuel efficient of 50kmpl. The scooty servicing is also cheap and the pros of the scooter is it's light weight and control.

Overall it is ok. Good shape, but no compromise in engine power. A good family friend. Comfort travel if it is husband, wife and two kids. Available in amazing colours. Slim one sick helps to drive through heavy traffic smoothly. But service is not so good. Mileage needs to be set occasionally. Only 80 marks can be given our of 100.

Under rated awesomeness - zippy rocket

      Gowtham

The hunt was to find a decent scooter that would help me zip through the notorious bangalore peak hour traffic. I had zeroed in on two scooters, the honda activa and suzuki let's. But later settled on let's once i test drove it. Boy this is one zippy scooter with a powerful engine and light body and good thing is you will not feel it light even while driving at 70-75kmph, gives you one hell of a planted ride with smooth handling. And till date i have never regretted the decision buying this under rated awesome scooter which surely has the potential to out do bigger scooters out there. Suzuki if you are hearing all it takes is a but more features and cut throat marketing. You will selling this scooter in huge numbers. Peace.

      Worst bike worst service

      Akanksha

After 15 days i bought this bike it had started troubling me. Riding experience is worst. The bike stops wherever it wants, twice in a week we are taking it to the mechanic.Service is worst, in spite of so many complaints, nobody is bothered.Too much maintenance required never thought that a suzuki bike will be this worst. Not worth for money. Please don't go for it.

Good handling. Good performance and value for money Was worth those potholes filled rides and bumpy hairpins. Good amount of torque playing under the budget engine. Not a bad choice for rent scooter enterprises. A must ride for your ill budgeted but friendship rides. The above mentioned was my experience and can vary from one to one. No offence.
