About the Reviewer

Ridden for (If Owned)

5000-15000 km

Got mileage of

45 kmpl

I went for a gixxer 250 and bought this the moment I saw it.
1. Excellent smooth engine with mileage ranging from 33-52kmpl.
2. Effortless cruise capability at 100-115 mph for extended hours.
3. No heating issues and performance drop after long runs.
4. Very reasonable service cost.
5. Acceleration is not frightening but enough to take most bikes in the category.
6. Bit tall for me and not clickable. Being a short rider it makes me sweat in city riding but I am getting along with that. On the highway, I can travel 300 km straight and go for work without any fatigue.
7. A no-regret bike to own.

The bike has very good engine refinement and performance looks but short riders little bit uneasy and the service point of view is very poor overall good bike I like it some minor cons are there are no switchable abs and no LED indicator and the horn is very low sound mileage also a little bit low when compared to other 250cc segment bikes.

This bike is best if you are shifting from 150cc and want to explore as well as learn fast about adventure touring, highest mileage I got was 44 downhill normally it goes to 35 to 38 always maintain tire pressure and keep the chain clean for better result pillon support is like 70 % comfy rest will get used to in time.

    1. I bought this from the Suzuki showroom in Thane, (Kiran Suzuki), the overall experience was good, but we very clear they are not giving any accessories unless we ask them
    2. This bike is very smooth to ride, above 7000 rpm she is a beast, and below that she is a good commute. I never had to worry about potholes she take them very well.
    3. Look-wise, everyone will stop to take a look and ask you if she is a superbike, she is a head turner.
    4. Performance-wise she has two face clams and is easy to handle till 5000rpm, a beast at 7000rpm nicely tuned engine ensures smooth power transmission. I can say best in the segment
Cons could be the display, for a bike like this Suzuki should have gone for a TFT display,
Suspension is good but not the best, Braking is not the best need to be very careful.

One of the best decisions I took just with my friend's word, seriously. The only con is that you'll tend to draw too much attention. So you better dress and ride properly. Rediscover the sheer pleasure of riding. It is quite big and yet under your full control. ZERO vibration, even @ 100! So responsive that it makes you feel like it listens not cos you are the Boss, but cos it Respects the Rider!

    1. The buying experience was good.
    2. Riding was a bit stiff. But does the job on highways. Not an offroader bike.
    3. Looks wise I loved it. But performance wise it's average. Decent power. Got a mileage of 35-38 in highways and 28-30 in the city.
    4. Maintenance cost is low but not the servicing. I paid 1300 for my first free servicing. Idk how much I have to pay next.
    5. Pros:- Overall Good looking bike, has a road presence. A proper highway tourer. You will enjoy it on the highways.
    Cons:-
    (i) My bike has vibrations on the right accelerator handle. Idk if someone else has it. On long tours, my right-hand goes numb.
(ii) Stiff suspension that's why it is strictly not an offroader. Go for a Himalayan if you want off-roading.
(iii) Clunky gearbox. I have difficulty with shifting gears. It's rough, especially with the 6th gear.
(iv) The engine makes a bad sound when I rev it to the max.
    (v) Headlamps are completely useless in the dark.
(vi) The top speed I got is around 110km/h. It doesn't go more than that. Or maybe I am a noob idk. And the cruising speed is around 60-70 if you want a mileage of 35-38. I hope I get more after 2 more services.
(vii) Although this might not be a con but i suggest you buying a rear tire hugger. The bike gets completely dirty on the rear because of the sticky tires which is good for gripping during rainy seasons.
(viii) The Pricing of this bike. It is not value for money.

I decided to bring this V storm home after checking 8 bikes
My idea was clean and straightforward I wanted an adventure touring bike I do 95% of highway touring only 5% off-road here and there some city roads are also off-road anyways
So the 250cc engine is a sweet spot you get both mileage and power I'm getting 40 kmpl on highways and between 34-36 in the city,
The detailing and shape geometry used in this bike is solid 5/5,
Performance is mind-blowing picks up with full power on acceleration,
Even after driving for straight 5 hours, I felt no pain in the back
The sitting poster is comfortable for long rides, and the service cost is also not pricey but indicators are not up to date (still you can upgrade for LED aftermarket)
And instrument cluster is not colourful
Overall I'm Happy Riding my Boy
I give 4.8/5 for this bike
    Buy it! 😁

And the best part is its road presence this v strom 250 sx is a head turner.
But there are some cons also to this bike first one is the engine heating issue, sometimes I feel the heat on my right leg.
2nd con is sometimes I get a burning smell from the engine.
and the service experience is very horrible.
But the bike is amazing you will have fun with it.

1.Showroom takes more money from ex showroom mention on official website.
    2. Bike is actually Vibration-Strom. I've exchanged my gixxer sf for this shit. Now I regret every day.
    3. Looks good. Chains are very noisy also visors on left side pull out on high speed. Mirrors fall down on vibration.
    4. After 2nd serviced done right leg side penal not fitted properly. They make noises. I've fixed it outside. Left side pulling issue never solver.
Only pro's is mileage I've got 45 approx otherwise only cons cons and cons.
    Please riders avoid this shit.

    Styling, design, features
Suzukis aren’t going to win beauty pageants except for their few Superbikes. In this case, the front is better than the rear with the beak as the most attractive element.
I feel this bike should have been just named SX250 rather than adding V-strom, which kind of dilutes the pedigree of the bigger V-strom. I was initially of the opinion that this contraption is only meant for cost-conscious countries like India, was surprised that the same model has been launched in Australia as well in 2023. Twin-cylinder engine model exists in Europe. Although that model may not make the cut for the V-strom badge, however, it at least has a twin-cylinder engine.
Many aspects have been carried over from 250cc Suzuki siblings. Part sharing is good in the platform, however, Suzuki India should have worked on both suspensions. Getting the ADV look is correct. However, the kind of roads that Indian cities have now mandate plusher suspension..

    Buy it! 😁

The bike is so Amazing, It's been a month since I bought it, The bike's comfort is superb, and the power of the bike is amazing it will never let you feel underpowered.

    Saurabh Parsodkar

The bike has very good engine refinement and performance looks but short riders little bit uneasy and the service point of view is very poor overall good bike I like it some minor cons are there are no switchable abs and no LED indicator and the horn is very low sound mileage also a little bit low when compared to other 250cc segment bikes.
