Buying experience: i bought the bike at 10.12.2019. The buying experience was quite good and the sales manager are very kind they have a many options to buy a bike. I bought it from sbm tvs motors, ayyanavarm .I know it via bikewale. Com.Riding experience : the riding position on the rtr isn't much sporty but it isn't that comfortable either. It has an average size fuel tank. It gets viby at high speeds(high rpms) which compromises its stability at high speeds. And the motorcycle seems quite small to mount saddle bags on it.Like i said one could cruise on rtr 160 but it wasn't meant for long distance touring.I get 45kmpl mileage in a city conditions and 47kmpl in highways. Looks& performance:the motorcycle is designed with a racing approach and features muscular and edgy design. Up front, the apache 160 gets beast-inspired headlamps which give the motorcycle an aggressive look.The tvs apache rtr 160 also features muscular tank with extended shrouds, chiseled engine cowl and stylish tail design. The motorcycle gets racing graphics decals. The rear end looks sleek and sharp thanks to the led tail lamp. The engine was very well. My top speed is 112kmph. The engine pickup was quite slow. It's suitable for city commute. The 5 speed gear box was very smooth while shifting the gear the exhaust sound was very nice. Servicing&maintenance:1st service 500km/1 month cost rs.726(chain sprocket lubrication, oil filter change) 2st service 2500km/3 month cost. rs.685(oil change, spark plug, chain sprocket lubrication) 3st service 5000km/6 month cost rs.726(pinion gear change, engine overhauling) However the maintenance & service cost is quite lower. But the bike has some problem in speed meter.Pros and cons:Pros :-The rtr - racing throttle response. It lives up to its name. The instant response with the throttle encourages you to push further (with caution).Decent mileage in the city. It consistently gives me 42 kmpl to 45 kmpl in spite of running it a higher rpms. Seems like the fastest in its class.It's light and easy to maneuver.Lesser maintenance costs.Decent seat height. Neither too high nor too low.And finally - the sound.Cons :-Not suitable for riding long distances. You may experience back pains.Mediocre tvs tyres. You can't rely on them during the monsoons. Got them changed to mrf zapper series. Rides better now.Vibration at certain speeds. Fades away once you cross that speed range.If you have a pillion rider, then it struggles a bit to pull. If riding solo, then no issues at all.

Tips for TVS Apache RTR 160

Regularly lubricant the chain sprocket. Change oil 6month once. Keep the bike clean. Don't push the for long riding more than 150km without resting. Change the brake shoe once a year for perfect braking.

This bike is comfortable for all guys. Bike power and design are good. Shorts riders can afford this. This bike is value for money. This Bike's mileage is ok at 160 cc. The bike has a 12-litre fuel tank. Seat height 790 mm. This bike everything is awesome at this price. This bike exhaust sound is superb. Thank you!

I have been using this bike for the last 15 years from 2009 to now the bike has been a great experience for me I purchased it amount of 67 K(on-road price) a few days before I re-registered it from RTO after 15 years. I am still getting 40 plus mileage in one litre and my bike engine is still not getting reopened now even though the clutch plate is original I am not joking its true, In 2017 my bike crossed 99999 km bar but still my bike running great on roads.

I have a TVS Jupiter 2012 model, very good experience with that, low maintenance, good mileage most comfortable, and there have been no major issues till now , That's why I am taking this vehicle this is also a very good vehicle, mileage good around 55kmpl, service good, they are giving good service.

Apache bike looks good, it is fun to drive, seat comfort is also good, it is special at all in long drives, there is no problem with the bike but the work in their service center is a little less, it is true TVS company. One should pay attention to their service center. If they come across bike-related parts they will never get it.

The beating is awesome self my family and friends loved it the look was awesome, and I loved riding this bike I paid an extra amount for the yellow color which was my favorite color.

Single handed bike like new condition only 32K kilometers run

This bike from TVS is stronger and more sturdy than the latest models. I have used it single-handedly for local city travel mostly. It has both rear and front Tubeless new tires (The rear one recently changed), and an LED bright headlight. The battery is just one year old and can easily continue for another two years without any issues. The front has a disc brake while the rear is drum based.
The last service was done on June 24, total KM run is 32K. It's a good one to use when timely services are done.
Insurance is valid until April'25.

I have been riding this bike for the last two months and I have experienced that this bike is giving me constant performance like a beast in the road. This bike pickup is very nice, acceleration is nice, and mileage is also very good. This is a low-maintenance vehicle that gives you the best performance. I would suggest you this bike because it is worth it.

Single handed bike like new condition only 32K kilometers run

This bike from TVS is stronger and more sturdy than the latest models. I have used it single-handedly for local city travel mostly. It has both rear and front Tubeless new tires (The rear one recently changed), and an LED bright headlight. The battery is just one year old and can easily continue for another two years without any issues. The front has a disc brake while the rear is drum based.
The last service was done on June 24, total KM run is 32K. It's a good one to use when timely services are done.
Insurance is valid until April'25.
