Reviews of TVS Apache RTR 160

I am using apache rtr 160 ( both side brake disc ) last 4 year. My two year experience is very good with tvs apache. And after two year , this bike performance is not good, look wise and pickup wise bike is good. Bike riding is comfort to other. But bike mileage is not good, and after two year while driving bike is creating more sound. And after three year bike start is more concern, 1 engine oil consumption, 2 wiring connector is hard & corrosion & ( rust) & and after run 30000 km all shocker is weak & leakage. Tvs apache experience is very bad.

I love this bike and sound speed etc. Its really nice bike . I am very. Glad to buy this bike many bikes in the market but i love this bike. My friend says that this bike is not so good but i really love this bike from their sound speed and look experience. My experience is so good with this bike... I love this bike from heart ! and have great power.

Buying price very very reasonable.

Riding experience :

It's very nice and i have ride almost 400 kms not facing any single issue one single day.

Performance &looks really good....

Still no issue facing &single issue also

Then also i have changed owner ship too

It's really very nice bike in this price, it's style, throttle, mileage everything is very nice it is better than pulsar 150, it's really awesome, it's performance is good, nice pickup, low maintenance bike, than other bike in this range, and most important thing it's resale value, it's resale value is to high then other bike

My dad owned this bike in 2012 at 78,000 rs rtr160 double disc coffee grey model and till now this bike is giving their awesome performance . Overall everything is good in this price section this bike gives you 35-40kmpl mileage. My dad completed 1lakh km in last month and good thing about rtr is it's suspension and rtr have very good balancing and double disc brakes gives you sporty drive without any fear and pickup of apache is greater then any other bikes in this price section.

in last i want to say that if you are making plan to buy this bike then be blind for this because no any bikes competes apache rtr 160/180.

If you ask me really i was the person who was waiting for this bike like anything post booking.

Luckily was the owner of first yellow rtr 160 new model in pune.

Buying experience was awesome.

Got my self engaged in the apache racing tribe which added a feather in my cap.

Ride experience

Riding was smooth when you want the ride to be smooth.

Riding was very adrenaline rising when you want that extra throttle.

It was real thrilling with the throttle being applied to the fullest.

I rode that bike for more than 60,000 kms

I rode the same in pune, delhi, gurgaon, mumbai and rest of maharashtra.

During long tours there was not a single point i faced any issues with the bike.

It treated me and i treated her in a very nicely manner.

Looks

Looks performance and everything was cool

Looks with all the new air scoops which weren't there for the old models

Equipped with digital meters and high tech features of race

1. Trip meters

2. Fast speed recorders

3, stoppie timers and many added features

Servicing

Be it in pune ,be it delhi, gurgaon, mumbai or be it anywhere my bike was always handled in a very precise and qualified staff.

It was a situation that every time i fetched for tvs service center i was always very near to genuine service center.

So service is awesome.

Only one that i came across is

Major spare parts which are required if any and are ordered they are time consuming because it comes from south India.

Before brought apache 160 i had bajaj discover 125, i m happy i took decision to brought new bike. Apache 160 best bike in 160 cc category. Bike performance is awesome, bike seat design give me more comfort on long way.

When i drive a bike on long way i can feel power of bike. Look wise i must say beautiful design & colour i have white. Performance and look it s beast. Head light lamp looking very good the colour and graphics are good in design and acceleration is faster than other bike

Cons: = no abs , tail light not looking good

2. This bike will not going to provide you too much good experience in the form of mileage.(approx. 40 kmpl max.)

3. After a long time bike starts to make some unusual noises.

4. Sometimes it vibrates a lot which makes you annoying.

When i cross the tvs showroom, i saw a red hot performance bike named apache. When i looked at it, which impressed me to take a test drive. The long seat made a very comfortable ride for my pillion. Apache 160 is beautiful beast. Tvs has a large service network. Little bit vibrating which is negotiable.
