It's the amazing bike... In all the facilities and other performance. And it's best bike under budget. It's power full engine. 160cc ( cubic per capacity) bike so generate power hard.. It's is bad performance only one the it's vibration. This is the big problem in this bike when we drive in 50+ then it is start a vibrating. So it's is to be a main problem in this bike.. But over all its best bike. I love this bike..

If we drive this bike in 50 kmph. Then it's is no 1 bike in the tvs series . Because it's main comfortable problem it's vibration so we have to be drive maximum 50kmph. After 300 km ride then change oil. Then power supply it's better then the other bike . This bike is chain drive bike it's generate power very well. One type of sports bike. So please maintain this bike because it's no 1 bike in the affordable price...

    1. I don't have bike yet but my friend have this bike. He had brought it 1 year ago. We went together to buy the bike from a nearby dealer. The main purpose to own this bike is that the sound of the engine is very smooth which we like the most.

    2. Very comfortable to ride the bike, when i set on the back i usually don't get any problem or any type of pain at all. The suspension is very good. One small problem is that when the bike gets a speed of 80km/hr then it slightly vibrates from it's handle bar.

    3. Look is always good for apache. That's the second reason my friend bought this bike. Rtr160 gives a mileage of 45-50km/lr at long road and in city road it gives 40km/lr which is okay.

    4. Service and maintenance is also very good. Service centers are very helpful here in kolkata. But the main part i mean the bike's maintenance is also very good. I have seen many bikes(like bajaj pulsar 150, 180 etc), those bike's engine got very bad conditions after 1 years or so but at the same time period tvs's engine didn't get any problem at all.

Tvs rtr 160 is the best bike in its price & cc segment. No other bike has the power to challenge it.It gathers 90-100 speed within 2 or 3 minutes. Controlling power is also amusing & surprise-able. Previously i used to drive pulsar 150. Rtr is more better than pulsar 160 in almost every aspect. Sound is also praiseworthy. This is of my first choice bikes. I fall in love with my apache rtr 160....

It is easy to get carried away by the looks and excitement that a bike offers and purchase it just like i did. A short test ride will help, but a prolonged test ride over a few days (months if its possible) will help lock the bond with the bike. I say this because it is important to find out if the bike’s ergonomics, the way it outputs the power and our ability to control the bike that all are exactly in line with the aforementioned idea of long term ownership. After all, the better the first selection, the more confidence you get in the long term ownership experience; the confidence that the bike obeys your commands and is always under your control.

Although the bike you choose after proper test ride is all exciting and grunty, it is important to look at the more user friendly options available. For beginners, it is easier to start with 150 – 250 cc bikes which include many refined and fully loaded options. The bikes that we get nowadays in the beginners category come with advanced equipment as compared to the already existing monotonous 150 – 250 cc. I say this because these equipment enhance the ride and rider experience and most of such bikes in this category are forgiving whenever we make some mistake as a new rider. It is also necessary to look out for safety features like abs, c- abs if the budget allows. Another main aspect is to choose an engine which is refined as you don’t feel any fatigue if you’re planning to stay on saddle for long. This will also ensure that you get accustomed to your bike by spending more time with it without getting tired.

Some bikes i felt that are easy to begin with are:

    1. Yamaha fz, fazer, fz-s

    2. Suzuki gixxer

    3. Honda unicorn

Other bikes with slightly higher power output and ease to stay on saddle for long as i rode are:

    1. Pulsar 200 ns(because of its linear power delivery and good brakes)

    2. Ktm duke 200(because of upright, less-fatigue inducing riding position)

    3. Yamaha r15/cbr150r/cbr250r(because of liner power delivery and leaned over position)

    4. Tvs apache rtr 180 abs(it is last because of it awkward lean angle for tall riders and fatigue inducing vibrations for prolonged periods of time. In terms of safety i would rate this bike at the top as I've been using it and only good thing that happened to me was the abs)

This is a very nice bike and very smooth bike. From my personal experience i can say that it's top speed goes to 110-120. It's looks are so much awesome. If you will buy the bike it's first servicing beeps when it goes up to 500km. But if you buy any matte colour option of this bike you have to maintain the bike. Clean it regularly and wash it during a week. But very very nice bike and i started loving this bike and it's exhaust sound.

I am using this bike for daily purpose. It gives a good mileage and riding is so comfort in city and on nh also. But it is only comfortable for the rider in long journey. The passenger seat is not so comfortable in long journey..Minor back pain and thigh pain feels to the passenger after 100-120 km ride. But the driver seat is so comfortable. The best bike for the youngsters acc to money millage and style also. .Love this bike.

The passenger seat is not so comfortable in long journey..Minor back pain and thigh pain feels to the passenger after 100-120 km ride. But the driver seat is so comfortable. The best bike for the youngsters acc to money millage and style also. .Love this bike.
