It's a good bike for long trip and also good for daily use. I have completed 2500 km . And still i didn't have any complaints. Riding experience is so good . No vibration. And very smooth in 5 the gear. The only complaint is break is not so good. It's an average breaking system. And i am using double disc model. And the noise from the disk is also little bit irritating. Otherwise everything is perfect. I did 90 km in just 95 minutes. Thanks to tvs.

Awesome riding experience with a great pickup especially on bad roads, good limited throttle to make quicker move. A little bit of vibration felt that could be the only drawback that I could suggest. Also the look of the bike was amazing, service and maintenance costs was low when compare with others.

I've been an RTR APACHE 160 cc user for about 3 years. It is no doubt 'THE BEST ' in the middle-class range for nearly all the purposes. The best thing about this is that u don't have to worry about its mileage because it has a decent mileage of about 45 km/L.
Here are a review points that highlight why this bike is awesome:
    1. Powerful Engine:
The Apache 160cc has a strong engine that gives you plenty of power. It's perfect for riding fast on highways or through city streets.
    2. Easy to Handle:
This bike is easy to control, especially in tight spots or busy traffic. It feels smooth and steady, even on bumpy roads.
    3. Cool Looks:
The Apache 160cc looks really cool with its sporty design and stylish graphics. You'll definitely turn heads when you ride it!
    4. Modern Features:
It comes with cool features like a digital display and bright LED lights. Plus, you can get it with optional ABS brakes for extra safety.
    5. Great Value:
Compared to other bikes, the Apache 160cc gives you a lot for your money. It's a good deal for anyone who loves riding motorcycles.
Overall, the RTR Apache 160cc is a fun and exciting bike that's perfect for riders who want both style and performance.
In my opinion, this is the best option. So, if you're looking for a bike that'll make you smile every time you ride, the Apache 160cc is definitely worth checking out!

As the name suggest apache rtr(racing throttle response), it really gives that response as if you are riding the bike on a race track and it gives that punch which you require from a racing bike.I bought this bike in the year 2014 when i was started graduation. And from that time to now i have very best experience of this bike. I think this is the best bike for a racer at this price.

  • The jack of all trades!!

    Mahesh M

    Buying experience:

back in 2013 it was time when i decided to own a bike, then i started researching on different kinds of motorcycles genre later i found mine should be a naked street fighter.

Next up i went to showrooms like hero, bajaj, yamaha, honda and suzuki as well but nothing impressed me but later i saw tvs apache rtr 160 in a tvc, a brand i never thought i would own one day because, in india tvs was famous for selling their bare basic, bread and butter model the xl and the heavy duty, but trust me when i swung my legs over the rtr the experience was "hunky dory" it was completely different from what actually the other manufacturers did and the next crucial aspects the rtr was superior in its specifications than anyone else in the segment competition, with no second thought in my mind i finally bought one for me with joy of pride!!!

    riding experience:

speaking about the riding experience i usually ride during the weekends for fun and used for commuting on very rare occasions, its not high on comfort and its not the worst either. The suspension setup is amazing with adjustable rear and std front telescopic, brakes do their job perfectly with enough amount of bite and progression in fact it is the one the best brakes especially it came with petal disc at front and rear.

One major thing to notice is that the engine starts to vibrate as soon as starter is thumbed and vibrations keep getting worse as the revs climb up, a lot of which can be felt on the foot pegs as well as clip-on handle bars, but changing on the gears properly its manageable for normal rides, the only let down is the stock tvs tyres which grabs a huge amount confidence while riding and it becomes totally unpredictable when its raining cats and dogs. One has to be very careful.

    Details about looks, performance:

the best part of this motorcycle is that it has a sweet motor which loves to be revved only past 7000 rpm but the red line is up-to 9500 rpm and knot to 60 km/h performance is where one would definitely fall in love with it and later would notice the engine is a smaller displacement otherwise its a beast. While revving such a sweet motor the exhaust note is just mind boggling for a single cylinder engine.

It's an amazing motorcycle to look at, and i also love the quality of materials used especially the fit and finish of the plastic elements and coming to the speedometer its top notch, no other manufacturer gives so much of information's of a speedometer till date.

    Servicing and maintenance:

servicing costs are on a lower side and its pretty normal for this segment of motorcycle,

and the technicians at the service center do a decent job, the only critic is that they don't know when exactly to replace the parts even with the lightest wear of they components they keep changing it.

Maintenance is quite easy on this motorcycle as the spare parts are available easily and are relatively cheaper among its competitors.

    Pros:

    aggressive styling

    beast like performance

    exhaust note

    incredible brakes

    exceptional handling

    cons:

    vibrations

    stock tyres

    rusting in few areas

Tvs apache rtr 160 new- bike is good for daily use but only defect is vibration rarely.

It may cost you about 90k on road price to max 95k. You can enjoy ride on highways with top speed. Compared to old apache new once are little modified by doom and seating both are good. Servicing and maintenance are too good, you will never loose the beat, that is one plus.

This bike is really good for daily riding I divide the review in pros and cons Pros- bike feels nice to ride Looks are great Power delivery is very good in low end Pick up is superb Mileage is descent And servicing is good and maintenance is not much as such If you love stunts this bike is very good for stunting Cons- front brakes are not very much sharp i feel vibration post 7k rpm Mid range is good but not best and there is no top end if you love to ride on highway go for any other bike cause top speed is under 120 being a 160cc bike that is not so good otherwise i like all things in this bike.

This bike is really good for daily riding I divide the review in pros and cons Pros- bike feels nice to ride Looks are great Power delivery is very good in low end Pick up is superb Mileage is descent And servicing is good and maintenance is not much as such If you love stunts this bike is very good for stunting Cons- front brakes are not very much sharp i feel vibration post 7k rpm Mid range is good but not best and there is no top end if you love to ride on highway go for any other bike cause top speed is under 120 being a 160cc bike that is not so good otherwise i like all things in this bike.

    Tips for other riders

Do not redline your bike before 1000km in odo. Change engine oil at time and maintain the speed in the mornings Warm up the engine before take it to the redline.
