I think this is the best bike in 200cc segment. I mean it has lots of the new modern features and got a really powerful engine! Best of the both worlds i would say.. buying experience was nice too...this bike is also good for touring cause so far i didn't experienced any discomfort while on long rides...

It was a great experience when i buy it. Riding position is also good. Bike performance is good in 60-70 speed limit but i wish it have 6th gear.
Bike have great features in meter console.
High speed record, short ride, 2 trips. And have all information you need it.
No doubt bike looks very aggressive from fron fearing and have a balance rear tail.
Overall i am happy with my rtr 200....??

Buying experience - almost okay. Riding experience - i ride 70 km per-day. Had a pain in my knees when ride for too long and the rear seat is also not so comfortable. I can say the power is good, but takes too much fuel. 350 kms for 9 liter.Details about looks, performance etc. - look is good for youngsters.Servicing and maintenance - takes 750 rs for first service but not resolved my issue.Pros - gear shifting quality is too good. smooth accelerate power is goodCons - never started in first self always take choke to start when not started for a long time have to keep in choke for at-least 5 min to start your day. very lightweight stability is an issue.

"Reason to buy"1.) If you are looking for safety aspects then its the best2.) Need to travel with a pillion all the time, then this is your best bike.3.) If Looking for a tour with all luggage holding and a stable ride, this is one. The solid body and great chassis will make you feel confident and comfortable while riding.4.) Want to feel the high CC bike specifications like the adjustable front suspension, adjustable brake, and clutch lever, upright seating with minimal aggressiveness, and easy flickability, and want to feel like I am driving a high cc bike. Then this TVS Apache RTR 200 4v is the best one.5.) Gets "RT-SLPC" (Race Tuned Slipper Clutch) so no worries at downshift rear wheel struggle/lockup. And also gets "D-ABS with RLP"(Dual channel ABS with Rear Wheel Lift-off Prevention) a safety feature good and helpful while slamming on the front brake too hard at downhill slopes. "Best color to choose - Glossy Black is the best one looks shiny and attractive, and more people look at your bike"Reason not to buy this"1.) Performance felt a bit lower. Since I drove the Apache RTR 160 2v carburetor (BS4 compliant) its aggressive and throttle feeling making you feel like you need to give more throttle. But in this TVS APACHE RTR 200 4v (BS6) it doesn't feel like that.2.) Service center. Main reason. TVS focuses more on being sales-friendly at the showroom. But on service it is literally too bad an experience even at free services they won't deliver a proper response and the reason for the parts changed.3.) Vibration is the biggest worry you will suffer from. Low end a little buzz but manageable, but on the higher-end which means cruising at (80-90) the engine doesn't stress out but the vibration on the handlebars and footpegs is quite higher.4.) Heat management. Since it's air-oil cooling you don't need to worry about any coolant top-up or leakage issue. But if you are cruising continuous stop-and-go traffics and long distance like 200kms nearly then your leg might be turned a chicken. Hah! Real not tolerated and feel uncomfortable driving further. 5.) Body panels are fiber, but the quality is no match with other bikes, it's sturdy, strong, long life duration. But if it's damaged it might cost you too much more than your services bills.6.) No branding on brakes. And brake biting could be better.

Drive calmly and smoothly maintaing at 6000-7000 RPM range even cruising at 80kmph you will get better mileage. And don't check the "TOPSPEED" which would be nightmare if vibration occurs on your bike. Best tyre upgrade go for ceat rad x1 Front - 110/70 R17 Rear - 150/60 R17 For better stability and good road grip. Because stock tyres won't look good for bike if you upgrade to this it looks like superbike feel but offers decent milage.

Nice bike for daily rides. It's been a month since I took the RTR 200 4v, and I drive very decently. Now I am facing an issue with the front suspension. There is oil leakage from the right front suspension. I registered a complaint at the service center, but its spare parts(shock absorber) are not there. Then they ordered from the company. I have been waiting for ten days now and have not received any updates from their side yet. TVS service is too bad, and their service and responsibility are minimal after the delivery of the bike.

I first saw one commercial of this motorcycle on youtube .. I'd actually fall in love with it's design, shape and off course power of the engine ...My riding experience was superb as the comfort was the first preference when i was buying this bike and that wild roar through the exhaust is just fantastic talking about the maintenance i personally haven't face any issues till the date as i was getting my bike serviced at the prefect time interval.

Tips for other riders
