Buying experience was good my rtr 200 was of the first batch when it was launched in my area i was the first person to own the bike & at that time i use to get very good attention due to looks of bike the bike has good road presence even now , talking about my riding experience it has amazing throttle response , mileage when bike was new was between b30-35 now i think it's below 25, i had to spend a little due to some change in parts but now i think i am having issue that my oil is getting reduced very fast,. Pros : good looks , good throttle response , good handling, good riding posture. Cons: less mileage, seats uncomfortable for long distance like above 80-100kms.

Great riding experience. The modes are amazing. The bike is in crazy demand as it takes about 15-30 days to receive an order. It looks really muscular and might help one turn a few heads on the street. Servicing cost is really low and the exhaust base sound has a good base. Makes people wonder if it's a sports bike.
    Pros:
    Great value for money
    Dual-channel abs
    Good brakes
    A lot of segment-first features
    Con
Tvs dealerships can provide better sales and service
Could have had a bit more power

Getting this bike is easy as tvs has very good chain of outlets. In india, only carburetor version in available.

Ride quality of this bike is awesome. Even if it is slower than it's rivals. It is fun bike to ride in city as well as on highways.

Look is super cool. Materials which have been used could have been better.

Servicing is always easy as tvs has very good chain of service centres as well.

Maintenance is easy and it is easy on pocket as well.

The only problem with bike is the instrument console, sometimes it shows false data.

I use this bike for daily commute as well as for leisure rides also. By far my experience has been fantastic i know it has less power than it's rivals but the abs changes the game, i think every rider must consider safety first and many times we encounter such conditions in which panic braking is obvious and in india it happens every now and then. Apart from the abs part the version which comes with pirelli tyres, improves the handling a lot and inspires confidence in you. From my point of view it's easy, enough powerful, safe and a nice handling bike. For those who are thinking of buying ns200 or pulsar 220 u can consider this bike to be on the safer side.

My buying/browsing experience was not good at either tvs or bajaj showrooms.

Given that, i visited a royal enfield showroom before that, both of these showrooms made me feel like they don't care at all. Also, they made a mistake because of which my registration was pushed a couple days later.

The riding experience of my matte white 200 4v till now is superb. I ride this bike in heavy bangalore traffic and it is very nimble to handle and maneuvers like a snake in traffic. The lower end of the bike i.E. 0-80 Is very strong. It overtakes very well. The top end of the bike is not as strong as its rivals, but for my use, i rarely ride it above a speed of 100. So in my applicable range, it gives a superb performance even when comparing to the rivals like pulsar 200 ns.

Looks are subjective, its lean and muscular looks make people look at it twice on the road. Despite reading on blogs that pulsar ns is more suited for a taller rider, i found my bike more to my taste despite being 6 feet tall. The looks are absolutely stunning, especially the matte paint job is beautiful. The split seats add to the looks of the bike and the fangs shaped always on front lamps look menacing. Apart from this, the meter is completely digital and very informative. When you switch it on the "race on" sign on the meter is usually a good start to the day. Calling it a "beast in a tuxedo" won't be an exaggeration. The engine feels very refined and handling is easy. It goes from 0-60 without any effort. It has 5 gears instead of usual 6 in the segment but the gears are more closely stacked i.E. I don't have to switch to top gears to go at higher speeds. I usually go above 60 in third gear itself.

Pros: great lower end(0-80), attractive looks, minimalistic design, refined quality, informative meter, easy to handle

cons: lower top speed compared to pulsar ns, not liquid cooled, slightly lower average when compared to that claimed by bajaj ns 200.

    1.Looks : amazing looks , resembles a brute.

2.Reliability : very reliable. Only time i visited the service center was to lube the chain. (You must check the chain slack and lube the chain for every 500 kms )

3.Performance : mind blowing acceleration , hits the 136 kmph mark in no time and that's the max the bike can go. The brakes are very precise and the steel braided lines offer good feedback . The tyres provide good grip on dry roads , on the wet they do work fine but can be a bit nervous . Mileage in city - 30kmpl & 39-40 kmpl on highway.

4.Comfort : the bike is comfortable for long rides as well as city rides . But the same cant be said for pillions as the seat is pretty small and uncomfortable even in the city. This can be very disturbing to rider if the pillion is not comfortable.

5.Serving experience : good service networks and spares are also easily available . Cost of spares are pretty decent as it is a premium quality sports bike.

Pros : value for money bike

Buying experience is really good here at delhi they have a seperate test vehicle available now about the bike first the power the initials or more simply the 0-100 acceleration of bike is really good one can easily cruise at 100-110kmph speed on highway but after crossing 110 the engine feels stressed this is because of the lack of 6th gear but the bike can comfortably go till 130 but constant 130kmph speed may stress engine too much now about riding experience the riding position is good for touring and long distance travel but the right leg can feel some heat after 1-2 hour of continuous ride this is because of the ram air intake that is positioned in right just above the engine to make engine cool the bike is comfortable even with a pillion and won't loss much of its initial speed even with a heavy pillion on board now about look in this area the bike deserves a 10 out of 10 the overall design the drl position and the split seat makes it a real head-turner so many people asked me whenever i take it out saying ye toh nai wali apache haina yar isko toh bilkul change kar dia tvs ne and yeah that bassy exhaust note is the best thing no need of after market exhaust now about service and maintenance the first two service cost ke 700 rs each with engine oil change and minor problems the tvs service person are really friendly and won't let you leave service station unless you are completely satisfied talking about cons there are not much but if you compare it to toh bike of same segment you may feel it little underpowered but the fit and finish and yeah the no vibration at all ride quality makes it really different from other even at 120kmph you can feel no vibration at all the headlamp is one of the best the throw of headlamp is really good better than all the bikes under 200 cc segment and most of the bike in 400 cc segment even though it's a halogen unit

    Tips for other riders

1.Looks : amazing looks , resembles a brute. 2.Reliability : very reliable. Only time i visited the service center was to lube the chain. (You must check the chain slack and lube the chain for every 500 kms ) 3.Performance : mindblowing acceleration , hits the 136 kmph mark in no time and thats the max the bike can go. Pros : value for money bike cons:

Don't ride too hard when you first purchase the bike it will only give you bad mileage and yeah park it safely or you may need to contact insurance company for theft insurance haha
