There was no issue in buying the vehicle.

I love to ride the vehicle.

The vehicle look is very nice and the performance is excellent. Mileage according to cc consideration it is okay. I am getting around overall 32-35kmpl, neglecting the speed variation.

Servicing and maintenance is done on my kms run.

    Overall good bike.

  • Rtr 200 - sure a beast at its price...!!!

    Abhishek Jeeva

The newer bike you have, the more you are recognized by others, this was my idea, and i was attracted to the apache rtr 200 as it was a newly launched product and many haven't seen it on roads. I was impressed with it in just a test drive and went forward buying that bike. The bike is really a good piece of engineering with abilities and its ride feels smooth. The looks are great and performance figures are great, though it feels under powered on comparison with its rivals, but its surely a value for money with neatly laid out fully digital instrument cluster. The remora tires offer a great grip, but if u want extra confidence, you can go for the pirelli's to get the job done. The handling of the bike is good with its clip on handlebars. Also the gear shifts are smooth and the vibrations have been damped as compared to the other apache variants. With a company like tvs, the maintenance is affordable and easily accessible. Having done a few hundred kilometers at a stretch, there are no heating issues. The bike even returns a decent mileage figures of about 35kmpl in traffic and around 40 in the highways. To add up spice to all these features, is the deep throaty exhaust note. Sounds awesome, rides awesome...!!!

  • A value for money bike with practical features.

    Vishwas

It was love at first sight, the looks were just amazing, had a thought to buy the 180 abs version in view of safety, but to be honest the looks of the current one (no offence to its owners) and no monoshock suspension made me shoo away from it.

This on other hand was very daunting and i had got the bike in a week after booking as the colour i'd asked was readily available, the performance is just awesome for city driving and the name apache holds good for the bike, the low and mid-range torque is just good and puts all competition behind in cities, the power delivery is linear and the usp of this bike is handling where you will love this bike, since it's heavier in nature does awesome job in cornering and you never cease the opportunity to corner it with ease. The top speed is where the bike misses it's spot to top position, the average top speed is around 135 to 140kmph but safe speeds i recommend it is below 120kmph as there is tyre wobbling in higher speeds which is a risk factor. Upgrading to better ones will be good option if you're a regular highway rider.

The bike has 5 speed gearbox which falls short of 6th one and many owners has definitely felt the need of it in lieu of fuel economy, the current fe figures are at 30kmpl to 35kmpl average.

The seat is a comfortable place to be in, however the rear seats needs some circus to sit in as it's positioned quite high and one has to literally jump onto the bike to sit. There are minor issues like chain needing frequent lubing because it's exposed to air without any covers, but there's nil vibrations whatsoever when you drive the bike.

Tyres given are remora ones which does decent job, the side stand given is too small and positioned off set, which needs to be carefully parked because the bike leans very much and stand feels very weak.

The bike is an over all package. Its very smooth in traffic and quite effective on highways, though the wind blast can be experienced because its a naked bike. I have done some short travels with the bike and you can ride it for around 80kmph very comfortably for long time. I am very happy to have this bike under my budget.

Bike with amazing looks & damdaar performance. Like the seating position & balance ride quality. This is the bike which never let you down. Gear shifting is superbly smooth. I like the half clutch system. Very fast to changes gear. Rear suspension is some what stiff.

Its a great budget bike of 1.03 lakhs

Great riding and best acceleration in its field.
