Buying experience.
To tell the truth, the sales team at the showroom that i visited didn't have complete knowledge about the bike. So it was good that i did my research online. If you want to buy a new bike, you better do your research right. Anyways, all the paper works was done without any delay and hassle. So i would rate buying experience 7/10.
Riding experience.
The ergonomics are neither too sporty nor upright. You are seated slightly bent forward. This really makes us enjoy riding like a hooligan( *ride safe**not like a ktm though). Something i noticed is that the foot-pegs come in the way when you put your leg down in start stop traffic, but its not a big issue. I stand short at 5'6" and am barely capable to ground "both" my feet. Once you get moving you are able to hold on to tanks quite easily and still there's plenty of room to move around. It is a good choice for shorter riders who like to spice up their daily commute.
Performance.
I wouldn't compare it to duke or pulsar cause they are more powerful and can offer more performance. What i would like to say is that if a quarter litre yamaha produces 20 bhp (please note that 250cc duke and tnt25 produces nearly 30 bhp) then it's no big deal if a 200cc tvs produces only 20 bhp. The acceleration is good enough to suffice your city needs. I think tvs did not consider highway cruising in to the equation. Still, you can cruise at 100 kmph, there some vibration, not a big deal though. Overall performance is satisfactory for the price you pay.
Looks are subjective, so no comment.
Maintenance.
Its always a good idea to read your manual, get familiarised with your bike, find a good service centre or get acquainted with service personnel at your service centre. Maintain and service your bike on time and you are good to go.
Pros and cons.
Cons;
no 6th gear
abs variant not yet launched
Pros;
refined engine
city commutability
comparatively comfortable seats
very good looking console
optional pirelli (i bought remora. Its not great but good enough.)
My verdict: the best value for money 200cc bike.

I bought my bike on 14th of september from sai tvs jabalpur madhya pradesh.
The overall experience was good i did the pdi myself to check the bike properly for any kind of flaws.
The first test ride gave a thrilling experience and it was a love at first sight.
The handling and power delivery was so amazing i fell in love with it and made my mind to go for it.
Although tvs has a good reputation in their sales management (sarcasm) so i had to wait for about a month or so to get my bike delivered as i wanted a matte black colour which was not easily available.
The looks of this bike are very good. It's a real head turner. People are always looking at it and literally no one can miss the mesmerizing beauty of this bike.
The major part to look at is the headlight , god they are so mean and aggressive you will definitely fall in love with it.
The matte black and matte red colour gives this bike the real edgy look it has .
The performance is epic. Get your bike on 5th gear and 7000rpm and you are above 100kmph. The power delivery is very linear and the on of throttle transitions are programmed very perfectly in this bike.
The servicing is cheap and its easy to maintain not like other bike which needs coolant to be refilled. The regular will service will cost you around 200rs (w/o oil change).
Pros :- 1. Good looks
2. Great power delivery
3. Easy maintenance
4. Cheaper service cost
5. Good resale value
Cons :- 1. Regular chain lubrication needed
2. Regular tyre pressure check
3. Mileage is not very good

Tips for other riders
1. Always lube you chain after every 300km. 2. Use tvs synthetic oil as it is a recommended oil fir this bike and gives a good performance (you can also use brands like shell, motul) 3. Always check for tire pressure coz the tvs remora tyres are a softer material and they can easily get a puncher. 4. Wash your bike on a weekly basis (if you own a matte colour) to keep the shine for a longer time 5. Always try to keep a keen watch while getting your bike serviced and always check your bike after service. 6. While idle for a longer time (>1 min) turn off the ignition to save your battery and maintain the average as the display is a digital with a backlit always on and a drl the battery can drain fast.

I love my apache rtr 200 4v
Raj
Details about looks, performance etc
The single piece fuel tank looks sharp and accommodates the extended fenders with ease, whereas the differently positioned fuel tank lid looks rather good. Adding a sporty touch is the black stripe in the middle of the fuel tank that also manages to break the mono colour scheme on the bike. You get split seats that are comfortable and accommodating for both the rider and pillion, whereas the rear gets an led tail lamp and clear lens turn indicators. What also work for us are the w-shaped grab handle and the wavy alloy wheels that complete the aesthetic elements on the flagship apache, tvs has managed to tune the exhaust rather well on the apache rtr 200 4v. Dubbed as the 'double barrel' exhaust, the rtr 200 gets a stronger bass exhaust note, which makes it an attention seeking motorcycle,
Engine and performance
apache rtr 200 4v certainly makes the wait worth it. Power comes from a 198cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that comes with ram air assist, a segment first. Available in carburetted and fuel injected (efi) versions; we were riding the efi version that makes for a slightly better performer between the two. The efi system has been developed by bosch, the motor makes 20.7bhp of power at 8500rpm and 18.1nm of torque at 7000rpm. Those aren't the post powerful figures in the segment, but they aren't the most disappointing either. Power delivery feels smooth throughout the rev range and there is ample grunt even at lower rpms to get you going. The throttle response is crisp thanks to the efi unit and the counter balancer shaft has helped keep engine vibrations to a minimum. In fact, vibes are negligible even on top of the power band and the motor is extremely refined in every sense. The engine feels the happiest in the mid-range at just above 6000rpm and power is always available at the twist of your wrist. While riding in the city will hardly be an issue on the apache rtr 200, the top-end is lacking and that's when an extra 2-3bhp would've helped. Tvs claims a top speed of 129 kmph on the apache with 0-110 kmph coming up easily.
Handling, suspension and braking
One of the stronger points that the apache series always boasted off was a strong handling character and with the rtr 200 4v, tvs has spiced things up further. While the frame is completely new, it remains extremely responsive and quick turns are hardly ever an issue. In fact, one could compare it to a point and shoot camera, so to say. It feels that effortless at times when changing directions. That said, it isn't flawless and the trait can be blamed on the slightly softer suspension setup.

All the people will look at your bike and this has an extraordinary exhaust sound. The response of the dealer is very nice and response of the service person is too good. This bike goes with a top speed of 130 km and the riding experience is superb. Last but not least is the digital odometer which will attract you more than other bikes. But has a mileage of just 32.

Cons;
no 6th gear
abs variant not yet launched
Pros;
refined engine
city commutability
comparatively comfortable seats
very good looking console
optional pirelli (i bought remora.
