Reviews of TVS Apache RTR 160 4V

The buying experience was good. The riding experience in the initial days was good as the days passed on there were flaws, the bike was good for long distance travelling and could stand with high speed for long duration in highways. Off-roading experience good. After a long drive and couple of of riding with hill riding the bike faced some problems. 1. Reduce in mileage.2. Vibrations.3. Change in engine sound.4. Misfiring of engine.5. Front brake squeak noise.6. Starting problems at times.7. Vibrations in handlebar between 4000-6000 rpm.8. Vibrations in foot pegs after 8000 rpm.9. Chain loosening and created heavy noise.I am one of the frequent customer to the service center to rectify these problems.1. The servicing is good.2. The response is good.3. Part replacement if damaged takes time to be replaced.4. The brakes squeak noise is not repaired properly even after cleaning the disc and pads.The ride and handling is good. Which gives the edge over other bikes in jump starting the signal.The best bike for immediate acceleration.The slipper clutch provides a great feel in releasing the vehicle. The soft gear transmission is best in class.Tyres provide good grip in high speeds and sharp turnings. Overall the bike is really good. With proper maintenance and effective running.

Since the launch of this bike rtr version, i used to ride the only apache version, what a bike that time first time tvs brought front disc brake and rear drum brake,now we are seeing abs version,i was reading about some ones review on the disc brake,i am completely disagree with the rider, you need to learn how to use front disc brake with rear drum brake, and front and back disc with abs facility,people are nowadays seeing lot of moto gp's and try to do the stuff on the road.But it is totally different scenario while come to the actual riding. Now little bit of shearing of my experience how to handle the brakes with both combination a) f disc + rear drum - if you are riding at a speed of 80 km and one street dog in front of you you must be squeezing the both brake and gone for an jump,(please follow the instruction do the front disc brake at least 10 times do this in frequent manner to breaking the speed in several strokes. By doing this at least you wont fall from the bike.B) front disc + rear disc with abs - in the same scenario one front brake, one back break the both brake as much as possible calculating the distance with the dog.By any means do not press both break at a time once or else you will fly......Hope this will help commuters to save themselves..

1.Bought this bike in October 2020 till now i have completed around 1.3k kms delivery date it was quite good.
2.Riding was excellent we can do easily high speeds in highway and in city its good.
3.Looks wise awesome , red looks stunning as per me.
4.Servicing is ok people at service centers are bad.

Good for high speeds, Weight, Tyres
Cons:
Brakes, Fuel economy very bad 30 km/l (disappointed) and sometimes around 25,
service centre guys. except this everything was great.

Compare with any 160cc bike you have more features and looks than other bikes.
Riding feel is awsum.....Posture is perfect
Looks improved and the performance of the engine is tuned by tvs it's smooth
Service I do it from solar tvs bangalore they are really professional and helpfull.
Maintainance cost is high because of sports bike.
A mobile charger port could be added and a helmet lock or hook like other non-gears vehicles of tvs.

This is the best bike for daily use in city ride. All over performance of the bike is good as compared to other 160cc bikes.Pros:-*best pickup*attractive look*superb handling*good comfort. Cons:-*no abs(according to safety purpose)*can't do cornering on roads because of tyres(little bit risky for the rider, he/she will lose confidence while doing cornering.

Little bit a cost for it.....Amazing features in riding this bike...Glossy look... Highly professional performance..... Servicing...&.. Maintenance...Is also at no cost very simple......But about pros & cons...It is about fuel tank.. Lid or cap open....I am not impressed with that because it is of slightly towards...Right side it is not in the centre of the tank.

This bike has a reasonable rate for the specification given are best used . Riding experience gonna be superb . Looks are killer it can impress anyone . Low maintenance needed.. Pros- best 160cc bike , 4 valve , remora tyres, monoshock suspension and many more. And yes it is a bike made for college students. Cons-only one but managed abs.

I brought the bs4 model of this bike...Which gives a power output of 16.5 bhp and 14.8 nm of torque...The acceleration of this bike is amazing from 0-80 within seconds...The bike is a bit heavy weighing 147 kg...And sticks to the ground...The engine breathe easy at higher rpm so it's very easy to be aggressive on streets...The price at which it comes is amazing...The breaks are good...The service backup is good...The maintenance cost is 500-1500 bucks...There is a problem with the chain...Which needs to be lubed every 400km for good performance..The mileage is decent 40 km...Top speed is nearly 130+...The engine is awesome...Must bye in this budget segment..The best exhaust node ever in this range..

I saw this bike when my friend brought it and then I ask him can I ride. When I sat on the bike the feeling of racer automatically came in the finishing of it's petrol tank where you can attach your legs with it and can feel of oneness with bike. The bike has gear shifting which is so soft and the handle is easy to operate and when accelerator which is exciting to rotate anticlockwise to reach to 60km/hr speed in just 10secs. Only this much I could get in that moment after riding that bike everything is so good. Just should be a rider to. It will give you automatically the feel of racer.
