Look wise, ride wise it's awesome bike but major concerns is with its.... Mileage!!! there is no clarity on average(approx) mileage even by concern team.. They claim that it would be between 45 to 47kmpl but it's gives only 30 to 35 kmpl only..Next comes to body paint, need to be very conscious, as small scratch on it will be resulting a metallic output...

  • It more than just a scooter class

    Bharath Krishnan R

First ride-(compared with vespa 125 as i haven't ridden any other scooter)(10/10)First thing first...Fill her up. Filled rs300 worth of petrol and it was 70% full as per the app.Took it slow and steady , the acceleration is was better than i expected, the vespa spoil me with its acceleration but i have to say tvs also feels the same if not better. But its the ride quality where the ntorq takes it to another level. The ride is so plush. Bad roads are no more as bumpy as its on the vespa, dont get me wrong , the vespa is good but this is better(terminator 1 was good but t2 was way better).Braking- (awesome)(8/10)Vespa hands down has the worst rear brake i have ever come across in any bike i have come across,,bullet coming close 2nd.On the other hand we have a disc and drum set-up on ntorq (not going in technical details) .Rear brake feels progressive, i wont call it sharp in any way but the same cannot be said about the front disc, it works as good as it looks. No complains from braking. Its also equipped with a brake lock for left brake handle and it works like a charm . The same is not present on my vespa. Overall the braking is really good, abs cold have been provided but its ok for now.Handing-(dream) (9/10)Now this is were the game changes. I love twisties and loved the cbr on the twisties, i did take the vespa too on rides , it does handles good , you can lean the vespa as well but not that much. But the ntorq is just awesome and what an lean angel it has i was leaning in speeds i thought i would never do in a scooter. Storage- ( dud ) (6/10)It says it can hold 22l . Ye it can but its 22l longitudinally not vertically hence a full face helmet didn't fit, got a half face helmet (vega eclips) and it too is a tight fit. Tried many positions but still the seat has to be pressed closed as the helmet intrudes the seat from closing. It does have a light inside and an usb charger.Weight , ride quality and vibrations. (i am no body-builder)(8/10)You see the scooter weighs more than me and a little more than my vespa. I find pushing the vespa a little l hard when taking it out of a cramped parking space, and if its an incline i always get on the saddle and push it back. But the ntorq really feels very light, i was able to pull it out of an incline very easily. Tvs has does an awesome job in the weight distribution The engine being a new ground up development by tvs, they have done an tremendous job of making it very smooth , even at 106kmph (speedo and app indicated) there was no ...And i repeat no harsh vibrations , its a machine hence it cant have zero vibrations.Design and quality- youthful......No....Cheerful yes. (8/10)The design of ntorq is not ground braking but not boring (read activa) either, it gives somewhat cheerfulness to the design we already saw in the dio and rayz. The rear is just plain awesome , that stop lamp so awesome when lit. The front dlr looks like a chevy bow.Quality of the switch gear are same as my vespa and that makes me happy, with honda not provided an engine kill switch in its cbr150 , tvs has provided it on there 125 scooter. Kudos to them for this, comes very handy at traffic stops. What else could have been done is, they could have backlit the switchgear, it would have made the deal already sweeten by the price more sweeter. Meter console - mobile away from mobile (12/10)A big 5' lcd display greats you as soon as you turn the ignition on.I am not new to complete digital display console. My fz16 had an all digital display but this is taking user info to another level.

One of the best scooters I've ever ridden.Performance and handling was on the higher side, feels planted on the road and suspension was good enough for fast cornering but without compromising on ride comfort. The cons is that it refuses to start in cold weather, auto choke was irritating.Plugs needs replacement before 1 month.Cold start was an issue till now and also is not very fuel efficient either.

    1. I purchased early in march 2018, over-all it costed 68k in tripura.2. Riding experience is something i'm very proud of, having completed exactly 5946 kms right now, it was fun to ride, good pickup power, great to manoeuvre in traffic, braking is good, i had it adjusted tight to suit my riding style. It has never failed to meet my expectations for a scooter. And recently i did a tour of around 450kms in 3 days, from agartala (13m above sea-level) to jampui hills (around 900m above sea-level). In between there were 3 other hills. It was fun to ride this through all the hills and roads full of very curvy turnings, keeping up with the bikes of the group that we travelled with wasn't that hard. But after returning i noticed that the pickup has decreased and braking got weakened but is still riding good enough.3. Talking about the looks, i think its second best behind aprilia sr series scooters. Performance is great in my experience, didn't face much problem so far except that minor problem i mentioned earlier point, recently after returning from a tour to hill station. 4. The tvs servicing here is great, they did provide good servicing, in time they would remind me that its time for servicing and all and did try their best always to fix the problems i told them. But failed to fix one thing, i.E. The vibration from instrument cluster. Regarding maintenance, nothing much, just basic engine oil changes have costed me till date, finished 3 servicing so far.5. Pros- good mileage in city (40-44kmpl), fun to ride and powerful enough for a scooter of that price, better than honda grazia, dio & ray zr. Didn't ride sr125, burgman & access till now.Cons- plastic body, side part broke easily after my cousin crashed it while learning to ride ??, instrument console vibrates. That's all for cons so far.

    Gaurav Rajput

It's a great scooter. It fulfilled my expectations. And i can say beyond my expectation.Riding is very comfortable on ntorq. Its disc brake is good and stop at a time. It gives me a racer like feeling while riding. It goes 0-60 in 4 sec. I love its appearance. Its a good scooter for all the sporty people.
