  • I got 65 average mileage

    Prem Jadhav

    1. My buying experience is very bad I have waited for 4 months for this bike
    2. My riding experience is very good
    3. Bike looks good and the performance is too good
    4. My first service is very cheap I paid only 367 for oil and an oil change is compulsory
I got 6⁰+ mileage in the city
    5. Pros -the bike also gets two riding modes, eco, and power, with power mode, said to offer 10 percent more power at the top end.
Cons-the quality of plastics on the tvs raider leaves a little to be desired. While they are decent, they could have been even better.

  • Regarding service tvs bike

    Shiv Lal

The bike is overall good but I faced problems during service. Raebareli tvs service is very very bad, I experience the service of raebareli two tvs dealerships but not good service. The bike is very good in everything, sometimes it gives a mileage of with economy speed. I am really impressed by the bike's performance. Value for money, best mileage, and looks. Everything in one bike. But some problem is both are plastic body and raebareli two service center both service center engineer and no training given by tvs very very bad service and not satisfied.

Buying experience is worst, comfortable for city commutes and vocational touring looks are good don't expect to much, performance wise stunning fells life 150cc, mileage wise 52 -54 you can expect in city, headlight visibility is really good
Con: bike feels like short. So before buying pre visit a showroom. Little beat of heat feels on your knee and through your right side leg while driving in city.
Pro: best in Segment, value for money, refined engine with great exhaust

  • No this isn't just bike "just looking like a wow!" Bike

    Sandesh Kurbetti

With an on-road price of 1-1.21lakhs, the raider would obviously impress any youngsters who want a sweet-looking ride but at the same time manage to give a mileage of 53-61 during rides. before you put your hard-earned money on the table here are a FEW pros and cons-
    PROS -
    1. Good learner bike!
This is the most beginner-friendly bike in my
opinion.be it the gear position indicator or the engine
it always helps a beginner to learn and with spare
parts being cheap (tvs) its cost is also down!
    2. Easy to maintain
This bike doesn't ask much, give it a timely chain clean and spray and oil change and a periodic service
    and boom that's it.
    3. Great suspension suitable for city and highways!
Compared to the competition this has good ergonomics and great suspensions which absorb
    the Indian roads well.
You might be thinking that with a long list of features Raider and Radeon might be making Apache owners jealous but wait hear the cons too.
    CONS -
    1. Not reliable.
This may have all the goodies and features but this
suffers vastly from issues. right from the display to the
Battery it's lucky if you get a bike that has no issues in
a year and if you are lazy and do not service it
correctly then it will surely cost you a lot! (More on
    that at 3 points).
    2. Needs chunkier tyres.
The factory-fitted tyres make the bike look like a guy who doesn't do legs in the gym
    3. pathetic service
With service centre mechanics who purposefully use a higher grade fuel to make a fool out of you with little or no inspection as per the TVS manual (unless you stand there and check yourself), you can't really do much because you get your service down outside not only void warranty it would cost you arm n leg if their inconsistent parts give you a hand.
    4. Poor light throw and no chain cover
Yes, you might want to add better light and cover if you want it as a daily driver.
All in all, this is just a short summary of you not a fanboy of TVS I suggest weighing your options and then choosing! Cheers!

  • Best bike in the 125cc segment...

    Md Wasim Haider

Buying experience was not so good as the bike is in high demand. I have to make a part payment of 40000 as an advance booking so that the agency don't sell the bike to someone else when it comes.
Riding experience was amazing. I rode 140 km on highway at 55-60kmph. Throttle response was good. I got a mileage of 64 km/l. It looks amazing. Most of the people are convinced that this is not a 125cc bike. The performance part is very good in this segment.
I felt two things are missing. One is engine kill switch and the other is kick. Rest all things are good. Go for it.

  • Okay okay bike.

    Akhilesh

Decent bike for daily commune purposes. Raider completed 9192 kilometers. Mileage is hardly 51 kmpl in city traffic. The problem in service, meter console and demands higher side maintenance. Definitely requires proper attention from tvs manufacturers.
Riding is okay and not much joyful during long journies.
The looks are okay, initially, I was impressed by its looks but after 5 months color is faded (discoloration) and some rusting is visible near to chassis, crash guard and gear shifter.
Pickup is outstanding on the solo drive and some heating issues (multiple restarts) were found during riding with a pillion.
Build quality is not good, totally dissatisfied.
Personally not recommended for budget riders.

Cheers!

  • Best 125 cc bike for looks and mileage till now

    Balaraj Vuppugalla

Reasonable price for 125 cc bike, looks are stylish and the mileage is far good for the looks parts are a little delicate, the positives are the sporty look and mileage, and the cost negatives are the delicate parts and service from tvs service center and delayed response, power mode for long rides and eco mode for daily use, the special suspension is a most loved part.

  • Best bike in middle class budget

    Ramesh

The buying experience for the TVS Raider 125 would generally involve visiting a TVS dealership or authorized reseller. You can inquire about the bike's features, specifications, and pricing. The sales representatives would provide you with information about the different variants, color options, financing options, and any ongoing promotions. You can also request a test ride to get a feel for the bike's performance before making a decision.
The TVS Raider 125 is a commuter motorcycle designed for urban and city riding. It's known for its comfortable and ue, making it suitable for daily commuting. The bike features a 125cc engine, which provides a balance between power and fuel efficiency. Its performance would be best suited for city traffic and short to medium-distance rides.
The suspension setup and seating comfort contribute to a relatively smooth ride on urban roads. The bike's handling should be responsive and nimble, making it easy to manoeuvre through traffic and navigate tight spaces. Additionally, features such as braking, throttle response, and the instrument cluster should enhance the overall riding experience.
Remember that personal preferences and experiences may vary, so it's a good idea to test-ride the bike yourself to see if it aligns with your expectations and requirements.

    Tips for other riders

Regular Checkups: Schedule regular maintenance checkups as per the manufacturer's recommendations to ensure your bike's overall health. Oil Change: Change the engine oil and oil filter according to the recommended intervals to keep the engine running smoothly. Air Filter: Clean or replace the air filter as needed to maintain proper air flow and fuel efficiency. Tire Care: Check tire pressure regularly and keep them inflated to the recommended levels for better handling and fuel efficiency. Brake Inspection: Regularly inspect the brake pads, fluid levels, and brake cables to ensure effective braking. Chain Maintenance: Keep the chain clean, lubricated, and properly tensioned to prevent excessive wear and ensure smooth power transfer. Coolant Level: Maintain the coolant at the proper level to prevent overheating, especially during hot weather. Spark Plug: Check and clean or replace the spark plug at recommended intervals to ensure efficient combustion. Battery: Keep the battery terminals clean and charged. Replace the battery if it's not holding a charge effectively. Lights and Electrics: Regularly check all lights, indicators, and electrical components to ensure they're functioning properly. Wash and Wax: Keep your bike clean and protected by washing and waxing it regularly to prevent rust and maintain its appearance. Suspension: Check and adjust the suspension settings according to your riding style and road conditions. Fluids: Besides engine oil and coolant, regularly check other fluids like brake fluid and transmission oil, and top them up as needed. Riding Habits: Practice smooth and careful riding to minimize wear and tear on the bike's components. Storage: If you're storing the bike for an extended period, use a bike cover to protect it from dust and sunlight, and consider using a fuel stabilizer to prevent fuel deterioration. Remember, it's always best to consult your bike's owner manual for specific maintenance.
