About the Reviewer
Ridden for (If Owned) | 5000-15000 km |
Got mileage of | 46 kmpl |
This is a premium category bike for TVS and was only available in some showrooms when I was purchasing it. So they gave the best experience also they mentioned they will start servicing in more showrooms so service won't be a big problem. Within 6 months or so they did what they were told and got services from my nearby tvs showrooms. The riding experience is very good especially since you don't need to change gears a lot. In Top Gear itself, you can ride at 24kmph speed using GTT. The seat comfort is also good, you won't get back pain at all when you go long rides on this bike. Some people don't like the looks but for me I like it. But now I think there should be automatic headlights in this bike like the one in Mavrick 440. That "T" DRL will look good if all lights can be turned off or there are automatic headlights. I think this bike gives you the best mileage in 70-80 kmph speed (not sure) or keeps the rpm between 4-6k . I once got 48 mileage. I think it varies between 42-50 based on your riding style and road conditions. I have done only 3 services which all are below 1500 or 1600. I don't know about paid service costs. The back tyre is almost worn out now(below 12k) I think I can ride another 500 km on that if you properly change tyres or you can go 15k also if you are a person who wishes to see your tyres like Moto GP bike's tyres. Pros: good mileageGood looks(subject to different personal opinion) Good comfortGood pricing It can go for occasional off-roading since it comes with dual dual-purpose tyreCons: can't switch off lights at day time so you can't ride with "T" DrlAfter some time headlight color changes to blue(a common issue) Some bikes report seats getting soaked in rain (you can buy Ronin seat cover to overcome this issue) There should be a metal engine guard, it comes with a plastic engine guardNb: I suggest you can go for this bike rather than going for hunter 350,atleast do a test ride before purchasing itYou can join https://t.me/TvsRonin if you are from Kerala and owns a ronin so that you can share your experience
Tips for TVS Ronin
Please, do read the user manual and follow the tips. Always change the oil at 5500 km or below even though it says 6k km. You can use this bike for off-road rides also but try to use dual-purpose tyres for a better experience.
Find out the list of available TVS Bikes.
The ARAI mileage of TVS Ronin is 42 kmpl. The average of the Ronin is 41 kmpl, as per the owners of the bike.

The design is Classy and strong, and the Performance power is awesome, Compared to the Royal Enfield Hunter this one is better in all terms, road pickup is good almost like an Apache, the engine won't get much heat, and it's value for the money and design I like this bike and I like to own it and it's not too expensive it's affordable.

Very quick throttle response. Design wise it's awesome. Performance is satisfactory. Seat length can be slightly increased. The mudguard/flaps working is poor. The chain is noisy and becomes loose very frequently. Chain guard looks very good but it's less practical as chain cleaning is a little bit difficult.

On the first day when I received the bike, as a first-time bike owner, I found the bike quite heavy since the only two-wheeler I had ridden before was an Activa. However, on the ride back home, I got used to the weight, and it took me only a couple of weeks to be completely comfortable with the weight of the Ronin (it weighs only 160 kg, which is quite low for a bike of such stature). The gear shifting was unbelievably smooth.

TVS Ronin checked all the boxes for me. Not too heavy to zip through traffic, easy to maneuver, silky smooth clutch, power disc break with dual-clutch abs; excellent ride quality, easy and confident cornering even at 40-60 kmph. Stable braking.TVS Ronin exceeds expectations Impressive 225cc engine, smooth transmission, and agile handling. Retro-style design, comfortable seating, and feature-rich instrument cluster. A wonderful bike at a wonderful price. My ride is like I am flying with wings. Good Comfortable ride. Good Mileage bike. The brand shows pride in design. Rise of the Ronin is excellent when it dares to be itself and lean into its challenging, rewarding fighting; too often. Riding is good in City and Highway but rear braking tends to lag at 80 plus speed. Weight balance is very well maintained. No problem with mountain Roads and hairpin bends.
