Vespa LX Summary
The Vespa LX is a modern incarnation of the original Italian scooter that was popular during the 1960s and 1970s. The premium scooter was launched for the Indian market at the 2012 Auto Expo and is now available in a single variant with a single engine option.
The Vespa LX embodies the original yet simple design that made it popular during its hey-day and this design has been carried over in a more modern form. The design theme includes the round headlight, curvy body panels and of course the slightly forward leaning stance.
The Vespa LX is powered by a 125cc single cylinder unit that produces 10bhp and 10Nm of torque. It has been mated to a CVT gearbox. Standard features include an electric start, front disc brake, single piece analogue instrument cluster that provides speed and amount of fuel in the tank. It has also been fitted with a clock and all the tell-tale lights. Vespa sells the LX in shades of red, orange, blue, silver and yellow.

Burns a hole in your wallet as well as sarees and chunnies

Good style & powerful engine. Low mileage of 31.2 kmpl. Not safe for ladies wearing sarees and loose dresses since contact with the silencer which gets unusually heated burns up dresses. When i contacted the showroom service centre they said that heating is a common issue. There is no re-dressal to my complaint.

Very different and lovely experience... Riding exp.Is very very comfortable and unique... Really loved it.., look-wise is outstanding. I have purchased it a week before, vespa has really launched a great model..May be price is little bit high but am very much sure it's worth it for it's price...You will definitely loved it.. Very happy with vespa..

Only you need to take care of servicing time to time and in every servicing must change oil...and for good mileage 40-50kmph speed is best..

I was looking for a scooter with a budget of around 70k there was a lot of options in the market for scooters, best one for u is the recently launched activa 4g which has a much cheap price than the vespa lx. But, piaggio also got some style in it. If u r looking for a scooter with advance feature go with activa and if u want some style in u r pocket go with vespa but it also warms your pocket with additional 20k then the activa 4g

Tires are a bit long lasting and the mileage i am getting was slightly around 40 in the city
