At first everything was ok but later when we went for servicing the bike something broke and they said we broke it. It was a part to increase and decrease accelerator rate. And when it come about riding I rode both on and off riding look is ok and servicing is a also ok. I have purchased 3 years back.

I would like to review this bike on friends bike experience. I am a regular commuter and my daily traveling is around 55 km. Look : the bike has some appeal to it specially the colour of my bike hurricane blue really looks good. Build quality : above average the buttons and switches are of good quality but i feel the body is not made properly specially the front section of tachometer shakes a lot. Bike parts : my major complaint is about the parts which are used in this bike.1) chain sprocket is of really bad quality i have to change it in a span of 8 months ( i previously owned an passion pro it took me around 3 years to change it.2) oil spill from shock absorbers . How can the oil seal get damaged so early.3) there was rusting on the metal bar which holds both the shock absorber's. It happened within a span of 2 months after i purchased the bike still face the same issue.4) the tires gave me good comfort and confidence in the beginning but after first puncture in the back tyre the bike doesn't feels so comfortable as it keeps on getting punctured and the back end of the bike is a little draggy.5) the body of the bike shakes a little in windy condition much better than my previous bike but expected much more from it as i saw lot of good reviews before buying. Mileage : i regularly got a mileage of around 40 to 45 which can be considered as a good one the best which i could get was around 49.Pocket friendly : servicing the bike has been around 1 k only the first two service was around 700 rs after that all the service was around or above 1 k.

  • Worst bike ever

    John Immanuel

The only Low-quality bike I ever owned. The parts used are not even worth using the bike for a long time. Just in 2-3 tears time with the best of my maintenance, the bike gives out a lot of its true color with the worst plastic quality that comes out of the bike just due to riding the bike and the bad quality spare parts used internally. I have not received such spare parts failure in any of the 15 bikes I previously owned. I will never ever recommend the brand again to anyone after they worsened the plastic quality and the performance including the spare rates are hideous. Lowest pickup in the segment, low-quality fit and finish, low-quality spare parts, Worst highway stability, Continuous brake failure issues and the only good this is that the mileage is good only when you ride within 60-70kmph max speed.

  • Long term review 60000kms - 3yrs

    Sabari Dines

Got this bike in 2015 , but was not sure about the fuel injector by that time. For my surprise the bike rode well with the true character of the fz v1 , this bike packs a punch on the low and mid range but when you cross the triple digit mark you can feel the bike gasping for power but still it's an yamaha and the built quality and ride quality will make you forget about it , with the gear shifts i have never once experienced an miss shift , the riding position is pretty comfortable and the front fat forks does what it does well the bike feels pretty nimble on the corners you can lean and pull the throttle with confidence . Things you might miss is an dual trip metre and a clock in the console and the fuel indicator might mall function while put on side stand. I have rode 60000 kms by the past 3 years on this bike it has never failed me once and returns an mileage of 45-47 on city and 50-53 on highways. It's a neat bike if you want to go for an good brand with an good svc and might fail you on high range but if you are sure about what you are walking into welcome to an clean refined and an awesome streetfighter experience as it's the "lord of the street" and not highway or track .

  • Class leading refinement with an under-powered engine!

    Aishadeepta Mohapatra

So basically I bought this bike because of its mileage, style and refinement. Its engine is very smooth and ride quality is superb. You can commute all day long in the town and you won't get tired easily. The demerit I consider here is the lack of power and punch in the rev range. This is actually an under-powered bike. In 150CC segment you can get other bikes as well with more power and torque. Certainly 12.3BHP of power for a 150CC is not great. But even with less power you get the pure and class refinement of YAMAHA. If you are looking for just daily city commutes and very few casual rides then go for this bike because this is going to give you really good mileage. Even after a year I'm getting mileage of around 47-50kmpl(my riding speed - 60-75kmph in city limits) considering that you have to do proper maintenance and on-time service. Still I would recommend a person to look for some other bikes like the Gixxer 155, and apache rtr 160 4V, and hornet 160r. They all come at same price and have much better power figure and performance than fzs fi. So go with your requirements!

58 km per liter. amazing mileage, my bike goes 400 km in 7 liter, fuel, good for daily commute for office persons and highway riding a good package in 1.23 lakhs. mid range performance is really good, if you want a bike with good looks, mileage then go for it but if you need high speed, pick up then you should go for other options.

I bought this bike. Look Wise and comfort wise it is awesome. I will suggest this bike for daily commute also for long bike ride. The main thing i liked about this bike is muscular look and comfort. Handle bar is raised so it gives more relaxed ride. And bike comes with fi as a result the engine is more refined and there is no sign of vibration at all and it gives more mileage 45kmpl for sure. Servicing is very good and maintenance is less. The cons is price if you compare with other 150cc segment bike they are approx 10k cheaper but they come in carburetor variant.
