At age above 50, i have had a great youthful experience while riding this bike. It gives supreme confidence while riding on empty roads or in thick traffic. Great for commuting. Suspension solid. Ground clearance just adequate. On smooth roads, it is like driving a car. Very slick. For my age, moving in and out of parking matters a lot and it is very convenient. Mileage not less than 50 i suppose. Best buy at this price. For those old souls hesitant to go for re bikes or forward leaning sports models, i suggest this bike to enjoy the best of both worlds.

Battery problems beware

Rest assured, the main problem a fzx user will face is its battery drainage problem. Almost everyone who uses a bluetooth variant has experienced it.Once I got it replaced with another one through warranty but again the same problem is happening. Yamaha is yet to correct it.Riding quality and looks are ok.Never go for bluetooth version, it is literally a waste of money.

Tips for other riders
Don't switch on the vehicle unwantedly, DRL and number plate bulb huge amount of power. Go for non Bluetooth variant only. BT variant is of no use.

Decent very good bike. Bike looks awesome. Mileage is also great. Daily usage can also recommended. 149 cc engine long rider face with heating issues is existent. Its a good bike for it looks and retro style design. Not suitable for below 5ft 7inch person. It can go beyond that speed but the engine feels stressed post 60 km/h.
