First of all the bike is what you really want if need it if you are a college going student.. Awesome engine acceleration is as good as duke 200 ..Fun to ride . Ride at around 50 you even get a mileage of 44kmpl ..I mean seriously what else do you need. Get some riding gear and look like a rock star riding it!

Basic things about the bike..
one of the best bikes yamaha has made for the 250cc segment ...
Pro's
1. Comfortable,. very comfortable for daily use..
2. powerful to filter in traffic..
3. it's a bit heavy .. but you won't feel it once you start getting used to the bike.
4. best 250cc bike you can buy
5. I like the exhaust sound..
6. handling the bike is very easy ..
7. low maintenance cost
8. quick service and great customer service
9. worth every penny you paid for the bike
10. Amazing riding experience
11. great for long tours
12. you will never feel you are lacking power.
Con's
1. headlight is not so powerful
2. mirrors are bit oddly shaped
3. exhaust pipe will start to rust.
4. not enough official accessories... like (good crash guard and stuff
things to check during delivery
1. ride the bike for 2 3kms check if there are any sounds
or any lose bolts
2. tool kit.
3. ask for extra fuel (first go to a petrol pump).. its not great to ride a 250cc bike with almost no fuel in it..
(because my fuel gauge had issues so)
accessories to buy from yamaha
1. get the seat cover (they are great)
2. Grips.. (better than the original)
3. skid plate
4. crash guard (very important)
off market accessories
1. hand guard.. (get ktm handguard)
2. auxiliary lights (get them fixed near the fork)
3. adjustable levers (if you need them)
overall it's a great bike.. and i am really happy... buying it..
it will be my 3rd service this Nov... I might have spent approx 3k... on it

I have driven it to kullu from chandigarh, and regularly to sundernagar on uphill drives very comfortable and power packed bike. I have also driven it to jalandhar and back really confidence given bike, throttle response is quick which saves and helps in instant overtaking of trailor or long vehicles. I have got 38 kmpl on regular driving which includes fast driving, highway and city driving. Bike looks stunning, high on performance, needs little to no maintenance. I love it overall. I do not like the dashboard looks, although it has plenty of information trip 1 and 2, odo, time, average, driving fluctuations in average, digital speed and rpm reading with fuel indicator. But i will like clock and average to appear with odo reading and it should be visible during day. But not a big issue. If you drive it between 45 to 70kmph at stable speed fuel consumption will drop i have generated average of 52 kmpl too and normally 42 kmpl without much effort. Lovely bike from yamaha.

It is very very smart bike i ever seen, because its price is too low and its engine its too good, yamaha is the best, i like its body structure, its look, its style everything is good in this bike . Fz has many version but the oldest version is the best ever I've seen,because its so good to drive best bike.

Buying experience was not good.I love to ride Looks is awesome on blue with black and it's performance is really surprising if you ride an average speed its mileage is 42above. Little bit engine hit issue rather than bike is awesome..Pros- no tired issue no back pain.. At 250cc it's mileage is good.. Look dashing. Cons- engine hit issue. And some time rear dish issue.

I love this model, it was amazing to look and excellent finish. Mileage is not bad. I think everything is perfect. I could not find any disadvantage about bike. It perfectly suits for me. It was my dream to get ride on this bike. It was stunning model yamaha ever made.

The Yamaha fz25 is a really competitive bike at 250cc as Yamaha provides power to weight ratio which is the best in the class segment, full of torque and lightweight which makes the bike full of fun on city traffic roads and the best in class gear ratio for highway and long tours. Major competitors ns200, rs, duke, etc in 200-250cc. If I would ever have a chance to buy a bike, firstly I will never go on paper numbers because every bike is made differently, but in real life, only the Yamaha fz25 will fulfill every gap which you want in your bike which also including stunt riding which I personally want to do with this bike because of it's durability, power with adjustable suspension and best street fighter as it is known as the lord of the streets. I won't go for the pulsar ns200, duke 200 because their 4stroke 4valve is not sufficient whereas else Yamaha fz25 4stroke 2valve is much better which most people can't see in papers. So Yamaha fz25 will be a really intelligent decision to go for. Before writing this review I searched a lot about 200-250cc segment bikes n only the Yamaha fz25 fulfilled my expectations. It's my dream bike Yamaha fz25 monster edition it will make my day every day.

I rajesh from delhi azadpur parched this bike on holi in 2018 today july 2019 still now my bike covered 28000 kms no problems found in my bike .In city riding and long touring riding. During festival i visit our village from this bike from azadpur to kushinagar 940 kms non stop you will never believe but it’s true.Friend i start our bike from azadpur delhi to greater noida to yamuna expressway to agra to lucknow expressway non stop only stop in lucknow for 20 minutes for lunch again from lucknow to kushinagar.Incase of mileage if you drive 90 kmph then you will get 36 kmph but when you will drive 100+ wow will get 32 kmph. In city you will get 38 to 39 kmpl.Overall best bike.
