Reviews of Yamaha FZ25

Had a very bad experience with the authorized dealer for converting fz 25 to fz s 25 without any information and the vehicle got insured, forced to reject the converted vehicle and made complaint to yamaha customer service.. But no use. Since I had a personal connection in the plant got it connected and sorted out the issue.
Last 30 years have been using 2 wheelers, driving suzuki, Honda, hero, tvs and now yamaha. Among all the vehicles found yamaha to be awesome, sporty and love at first sight. Coming into the vehicle yamaha has high maneuverability, rocking, stylish and nice pick up and good choice for powerful city rides. For long drives it just misses 6th gear. Yamaha should act immediately to be the clear leader in this segment.

I bought a fz25 about 4 months back from a dealership in bangalore. It costed me around 1.5lakh, along with a extended warranty of 3 years.

Initially, during the break in period, everything about the bike felt good. From the smooth gear shifts, killer looks, ride position and the sound of it.

Looks are devilish, amazing work by yamaha keeping the fz styling.

Performance is amazing, but i'd like to highlight 2 main shortcomings.

First being the power, the bike fails to deliver for a 250 cc engine, and feels under powered.

Second, the brakes. Brakes could've better for the bike.

Also, the suspension feels a little too taut, but that's not a major drawback.

On the bright side, the torque is immense and enjoyable. Loaded with good low range torque as well as good punches at higher gears, it's fun to ride the motorcycle.

I've done 2 servicing till now. And they've done the job aptly. I use the r3 engine oil. Charges have been minimal compared to other quarter litre bikes.

For conclusion, it's an amazing motorcycle which is fun to ride in cities and highways and the figures on paper don't mean much as it never fails to amuse.

If you are a daily commuter and how loves to have weekend ride who thinks about the fuel! than its an amazing machine..Its fair fz25 is much far better than any other bikes in this segment...Engine, fuel injection, comfort, handling, fuel economy low end torque!!! is amazing by these all its so amazing in this segment. drawback- headlight, lack of abs...

Since one year am facing the back pain with bajaj avenger 150cc. So planned to buy re. But its feel uncomfortable while riding. i have taken test drive with fz25. really feel.amazing.. Suddenly i will buy the fz25. now finished 23000km. 1. 6 month finished. Really gone all my back-pain. i am happy owned fz25, my best selection. What a sound feel happy while riding.

1. I bought my babe from yamaha showroom, buying experience was good enough.2. I have completed around 8000 km , i ride my bike to office erveryday and thats the only good feeling through out the day : ) i have even went out on long rides and on highway it's like a shooting star - way to smooth on highways and you can easily cruise at 100 kmph without any vibrations.3. As it is a naked bike it looks like a beast and muscular , the looks of the bike is not something outdated it looks cool and the performance is also fantastic and according to the power of the engine which is 250cc the brakes have should be more hard.4. The servicing cost of the bike is something around 2000 -2500 rupees which i had paid everytime i did the servicing , dust easily gets stuck on my bike i have to wash my bike every week which is ok though, the mileage which i get on my bike is 35 kmph combining both in city and highway.5. Pros - comfortable riding posture , powerful engine , good throttle response , small and efficient tachometer.Cons- dust gets stuck on it very frequently , no gear indicator .

Yamaha fz 250 is one of the best bikes in this segment. It has great power and torque.If your are looking for a bike in this price range then go for it.Till now i have faced no issues regarding anything. I have gone for long rides also. Superb in my experience, i took it to off roads, gives pretty nice mileage of 42, superb acceleration power, comfort riding, love this, comfort pillion seat, 2018 front light is good, low end torque is a good in traffic, The wide tyres are much helpful when on small pits, Good looking expect front light portion.
