I started loving this bike from the day i have seen it in the launch event.

As expected from yamaha the engine is super smooth and i just loved the sound ( like music to my ears ).

Pros : looks & design , height of the bike ( it feels like riding a horse )

Cons : no abs ( not even as optional ), gear box feels hard at times, vibrations at 85kmph.

Buying experience was ok not anything remarkable , initially i had some issues with foot pegs since i was using avenger bike before i own fz 25 also i had some sitting issues as well because of seat height and material used in the seat is very soft and smooth so the rider slides over no grip , now i have put seat cover it increased the grip now seat is good not much for complaining also after riding many times foot pegs are comfortable now and i like the seating position which not very lean forward so you can sit straight that will be good for long ride no back pain but occasionally you get ass burning that is normal in bikes , initial pick up is very good and speed is amazing you can cruise at a speed of 110 to 120 with out much problems , when i talk about look its is very attractive and eye catching feel like big bike experience should have increased the built quality some parts are soft fitted so that it will reduce the initial impact on any accidents body will not break easily and head lamp console is little shaky when u hit any deep path holes and humps yamaha should have worked on these details but ok if you use it nicely , servicing is good very minimal cost for consumable and other i paid 1000 only for my first services i am ok with it not complaints mileage is good so far 32 to 33 kilometre i am getting now . pros;1) good commuter friendly bike with good mileage and riding posture 2) reliable engine with good life after all it is japanese technology 3) no any engine heat issues even after 50 km ride continuously 4)less maintenance cost 5)good toque and power its is amazing for a 250 cc bike with commuter friendly not compare with other brands 6) better than any other 250 brands available in the market now when it comes to value for money Con;1) its headlight is not very good light trow is not very good 2)it missed out on abs that was one big disadvantages Thank you.

I wanted this bike right after i saw it's reviews on the internet. I finally bought it in July 2017. As long as taking ownership is concerned, it took less than 2 hours to finish paperwork and though i couldn't ride it first hand to way home as my brother was too lenient to ride the bike.2. Riding experience : coming from a decent 150cc fazer i could really feel the power and rush. Acceleration is quite impressive. Seats are comfortable and rider seat is astoundingly wide. Handling is top notch but i feel suspensions are a bit stiff for a street fighter. Its quite nimble and you can easily ride it in highways ad well as everyday traffic. For brakes, i'd say its not that impressive. For a bike of such caliber, you definitely need satisfactory brakes to stop it. But it fades, lacks bite and sometimes feels spongy. Until you have completed your first few thousand odometer readings and really got to know about how the brakes behave, be gentle on the machine. Gearbox might feel clunky at first, just be patient for few hundred kilometers in your tally. 3. Looks and performance : looks wise its a charmer. Though most of the time people confuse it with older fzs, there is actually a little similarity. First and foremost, power and torque figures in paper is not impressive, but it never lets you feel under powered. Mileage is super for a quarter litre engine. Even with weird riding style of mine, i still manage to get 34kmpl mileage. The led headlamps are completely useless on night so drop any night riding plans but shockingly in daytime people just love the looks of it. Weird right? riding position is not aggressive but it can still give you aches after first few rides.4. Servicing and maintenance : servicing cost is manageable. For the first servicing (free) i paid 1200 inr that included engine oil (2 850ml bottles ) oil filter, carbon cleaner, chain clean and lube. The duration of long servicing intervals makes you totally forget there's even some kind of maintenance. As my first servicing was after 2 months of purchasing the bike aka 10 september 2017, the 2nd was in 9 april 2018 and third being 8 october 2018. For this i'd say maintenance cost is pretty reasonable. If you chose not to lube your chain, the servicing cost comes down to 995 inr.5. Pros and cons : as a owner of the motorcycle i have laid down every possible pros and cons of the bike known to me.Pros :a. Good power but excellent torque. B. Good looks c. Handling is top notch d. Great mileage cons :a. Pretty much a stepped up version of older fzs. B. Not so great brakes. C. Poor performing headlamp d. Stiff suspension.

Buying experience was ok. I bought is from raj yamaha in jogeshwari. Coming to bike, it's an amazing machine. It feels great while riding in city traffic. Looks are a head-turner. It's a very well made machine. Service and maintained is not that costly compared to other bikes in quarter litre engine grade.Only con is it doesn't have abs.

This bike is amazingly beautiful and engine performance which beat every Indian sport bike .. Affordable and budget fixed bike ever , beast looks , tries are wide and sharp grip , when bike on highway at above 100 kmph engine does not vibrate at any situation , fully control handles and comfortable rider seat.

When i look at this bike i shocked , my riding experience was awesome it looks like optimus in transformer the bike sounds so loud and good i am lucky to have this bike with me ,my personal advise if u are a beginner so you dont underestimate this bike because this is so powerful and gorgeous i love this bike a lot.

Fully loaded bike...No issues on single seat raiding but double seat driving knee problem back side mudguard is not protect from mud also and cylencer pipe rusted 43 kmpl mileage on highway also..Good for curvy road riding. Also having fun on riding .Problem was gear issues after 5000 km driving. But very good noise.

I am in love with this bike. I've done about 6k kms so far. It's such a joy to ride.This is not a performance beast by any standard. It is probably the least powerful bike in quarter litre segment. But that doesn't mean that it is no fun. There is torque, loads of torque on offer. It makes this bike the best city bike. Riding in city is super easy on this bike. You can ride at 40kmph in 5th gear easily. Crawling at 15-20kmph in 3rd gear is no problem. It is such a good city bike.On highways however, it is not the best. It can cruise at 100-110kmph easily. But beyond that, it struggles. I have done 2 long rides in 6 months of ownership. And i have done a maximum of 400km in a single day on highway. Rider's comfort is very good. But the lack of 6th gear on highway is noticeable. Bike is very stable at 100kmph but there are a lot of vibrations. Vibrations have reduced a lot after second service. But i haven't experienced the 'buttery smooth' japanese bike feeling that most japanese bike owners rave about.I have matte black color and it is a stunner. I have been inquired about the bike a few times when standing at the traffic signal. In my eyes, there is no better looking bike in this segment.Talking about the average, i am getting around 37kmpl in city and 41kmpl on highway. I have done 2 free services so far. During both services i had to pay around 1200rs. Pros- - torque on low end, city friendly power band.- handling, ride comfort.- beefy looks.Cons- - poor rear view mirrors- acceptable headlight- vibrations post 90kmph- lack of 6th gear
