I own the mt15 bs4 version in black color. I love this bike. Reasons to love the bike-1. Looks2. Great performance from a 155cc engine although my brother has rtr 160 4v , mt has an edge over its rivals3. Comfort, since it is a naked bike, the good riding position now reasons to dislike-1. Poor build quality2. Yamaha's high service cost for example- only its rear disc brake costs you roughly 800 rupees3. Losing its vfm composition.I am using this bike for 2 years and after watching the mt v2 it totally lost its value for money composition.Back then I bought it 1.46lakh on-road dhanbad jharkhand and now it costs you 1.95lakh on-road dhanbad with lesser power figures. You are paying 49000 rupees only for aluminum swingarm, usd form, few changes in meter console and so-called "international colours". I bet sales of this bike will go down day by day likewise r15 v4. Yamaha will soon end up like ford. Yamaha must be aware. Your marketing tactics are disastrous for your company in India.

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing the Yamaha MT-15, and the buying experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked into the dealership, I was greeted by knowledgeable and friendly staff who were genuinely passionate about the product. The dealership had a wide range of models and colors on display, allowing me to explore all available options. The salesperson took the time to understand my preferences and requirements, guiding me through the features and specifications of the MT-15 with great detail. What truly stood out was the transparency and honesty throughout the purchasing process. There were no hidden fees or surprises, and the pricing was fair and competitive. The dealership also offered flexible financing options, making it easier for me to afford my dream bike without breaking the bank.Furthermore, the after-sales service was top-notch. The staff provided thorough explanations of the warranty coverage and maintenance schedule, ensuring that I felt supported even after leaving the showroom.Overall, the buying experience of the Yamaha MT-15 was a delight. From the warm welcome to the seamless transaction process, every aspect was handled with professionalism and care. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a quality motorcycle.Pros of buying the Yamaha MT-15:1. Knowledgeable and friendly staff2. Wide range of models and colors3. Transparent pricing and financing options4. Excellent after-sales service

The bike as once varun painter from power drift put it, is very good at everything, but lacks that soul connection with the rider. And he is partly true. The bike looks good mostly and the mileage is great at almost 40 km/l when ridden sensibly in city, 45 km/l on highways within legal speeds, with the stupendous fast race to top speed available at all times. Running costs including service costs, parts are not expensive compared to peers. Comfort is not a problem unless you are in sticky traffic when the clutch hand will start to pain. This brings to the fault with this bike, at this price slipper clutch should have been there. Now when i said varun painter was partly correct, its because the bike, while it has a soul, it comes alive after 5.5k rpm and to have fun, you need to keep it above 5000 rpm in lower gears while negotiating city traffic, it's fun but risky! You are doing 75 km/h at 5000 rpm in 6th gear. At 6000rpm its 90 km/h and its pretty fast. But the urge to give a bit of throttle is always there, for the exhaust sounds sweeter. Even more so when an underpass, or tunnel comes. And you may not want to quickly exit those underground parking lots, enjoying that angry, sharp exhaust note.So for daily commutes, they will be normal for the most part, relatively quiet and comfortable, but faster than the normal 150cc crowd without even making an effort. And if you want to have some thrills, it comes after 5000 rpm for some spirited riding, all along with howls and burbles of the twin barrel exhaust. It's very practical within limits, but that's just your sensible enough.
