  • I love everything about the bike.

    Sundaram Sharma

I owned an R15 Version 2.0, in 2014, I rode that bike for 1,30,000 Km and still going. I bought a new R15M in Oct 2023 as it was more promising than that of Version 3.0 or S, in terms of the body line, aerodynamics, and Committed posture which was lost in Version 3.0. The range of the bike is now much improved, Front Suspensions are much more responsive than Version 2.0,3.0 or S. Rear suspension I would say its the same as Version 2.0. If you are a true potential rider you know those who look comfortable are not made for any fully-fired sports machine. R15M or any R15 is something that will demand your concentration and enthusiasm which will give you adrenaline when you will ride on a race track and will give you patience and increased tolerance levels in traffic. I don't recommend this bike to those who just want to show off a fully-fired machine. There is no power change in Version 3.0 and Version 4.0 or R15M, it's the same. Break that myth which is created by some terrible road top speed achievers. So be educated 1st thing don't trust that bs4 was more powerful or bs6 is underpowered trust me it's the same I have given many R15 Version 3.0 owners a sharp cut in drag races with my Version 2.0. So don't worry Version 4.0 is a far better choice than R15S in 2024 that's tested. Fuel Efficiency I roasted many bikes in the last 10 years for this, 45-50kmpl in the city, Average speed 50-65km. Forty one-FourtyThree kmpl in the city, avg speed 90-110km/h. 56-58 kmpl on highways, avg speed 80-100km. 52-54 kmpl on highways, avg speed 100-120km. Ten laps of the Buddh International Circuit in approx 1 liter. I highly recommend this bike for Track, leisure, and Tour if you have it in you I have done it. 10/10 to Yamaha for making an utterly reliable track machine. 00/10 to those who take comfort as their priority. I hope this is your choice over its rivals.

    2. Riding Experience: The lively and nimble riding experience of the Yamaha R15 series is well-known. If the V4 model lives up to the heritage of its forebears, it should provide a performance-focused riding position that is both comfortable and accommodating. 3. Information regarding Appearance, Performance, etc.

Performance: The Yamaha R15 V4 is expected to have an amazing performance. It should have a decent power-to-torque ratio with a V4 engine, which makes it ideal for both track riding and daily commuting.
    4. Servicing and Maintenance: Yamaha motorbikes are renowned for their dependability and simplicity of upkeep. Maintaining the bike's optimal condition requires routine servicing in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. It is advisable to verify with your local dealership about the pricing and service intervals.

Positives: An aggressive and sporty design Excellent results, particularly in the 150–200cc range
Cutting-edge features including improved braking systems, upside-down forks (if applicable), and a fully digital instrument cluster good fuel economy for the class

My love Yamaha. As I have experienced a little ride. I appreciate the design, sound, and performance. The Yamaha engine is the best quality product in the two-wheeler sector. The problem with other two-wheeler companies is they make their best product but fail at measurements of weight, ground clearance, etc which affects control.

Yamaha's are known for their bikes that are not only refined, serious, and other things but they are always the segment leader or rather lead a segment above. They give a decent experience on buying and services. As an owner the only con that I could have said when I was purchasing the bike was it being expensive. But after that initial head scratch, you will realize that it is worth every single penny you've spent on it. If you want one just buy one.

  • Most honest review you can ever get on this bike!!!

    Meheer

My honest review and experience of owning this bike for approx 2 years, "if you are interested in a detailed review" u can read it below or else just skip it to the pros and cons (scroll down to the end)
    REVIEW:
I got this bike as a gift on 15th Aug 2022 as my first ever sports category bike and the buying experience was all good nothing to mention
I got this bike when I was in college and my daily commute was 60km for 2 years till now.
    RIDING EXPERIENCE & PERFORMANCE:
When I first got my hands on this bike I was amazed at how light the clutch is. As I drove for like 2 weeks I got to understand that I had made a mistake owning this bike thats how painful my wrists and back were but after a few weeks I got used to it and later on, I just enjoyed riding it every day to my college. And I used to wait for college to end quickly so I could ride my bike that's how excited I was with the performance and riding.
The riding experience and the balancing of this bike are crazy that u can feel the front end and have so much confidence that even in 120s u can corner it by leaning completely, even I scraped my knee and it got me smiling like crazy and when it comes to performance, in my starting months or so I was really happy with the power delivery of this bike it is calm and friendly under 7k and after that, it roars to life and does give you a linear power which is very much controllable and fun to drive by filtering through city traffic and highways as well. At this period I thought owning this bike was the best decision
One fine day I got rammed into a divider and fell from the bike because of an irresponsible scooty driver thank god I was in full gear on that day, nothing much happened to the bike and I was good too so I just rode it back home, on the next day I went to the dealer and that's where the problems began. The insurance company was a big joke and I had to pay a large sum of amount around 60k for all the spares and everything and they kept the bike for 2 months.
I am Unhappy with the service center and after that, I got a battery issue, later on, I got one drl switched off, the side of the plastic to the pillion was broken, and last but not least the radiator fan stopped working and the list goes on...
THE MECHANICAL PARTS ARE TOP-NOTCH QUALITY
BUT THE ELECTRONICS WERE NOT. Including the plastic body parts
    PROS:
    1) [DESIGN]: The best design and it never gets old, the looks from the people, and children are crazy not to mention the girls. Almost everyone loves the design of this bike
    2) [PERFORMANCE]: this 155cc bike is a beginner bike if it's your first purchase I can suggest this for sure, considering it only produces 18hp and is less on paper but with the 140kg weight it is best in its class, and handling, I cannot say it is more than enough power but it is sufficient for a beginner
    3) [FEATURES]: Name the feature that this bike is not offering. I mean it gives you everything
Dual channel abs, slipper and assist clutch, traction control, quick shifter !! And now it comes with a TFT display too
    CONS:
    1) PERFORMANCE: The reason I am mentioning it in cons is, after riding for few months you will get used to the power that this bike offers you and you won't get the chills you used to get anymore. And the smile slowly fades away because of it engine itself, don't get me wrong it is the best engine and most reliable but the power is the only limiting factor, to be honest here We have a 373cc engine (ns400) in the market for this price range and we all know how powerful it is. Just reconsider all the options before blindly going for this bike, it was the best in 2022 but after that many bikes have been released if you can stretch your budget a little more
    2) [RELIABILITY]: Engine and mechanical parts are best in class but not the electronics i had various issues and it did cost me a hefty amount, i got a battery issue and I completely changed it luckily I got it under warranty, later on, i got one drl switched off, the sides of the plastic to the pillion were broken, last but not least the radiator fan stopped working and the
    the list goes on...
    CONCLUSION:
If the budget isn't a problem this bike would be great as a beginner bike if not, the only reason to buy this bike is the experience you get from this bike is otherworldly not only talking about performance but also learning a lot of new stuff about biking experience and riding in tracks, etc (which other bikes like ns400 and any naked category bikes fail to give at this price point).., as I am a bike enthusiast and I'm looking into continuing my journey with bikes in future especially the sports bikes because of the thrill and Adrenaline they provide it was a perfect choice for me but if you are not looking into these factors then you will slowly hate this bike and regret your decision. And I'm repeating this if you want to join this club of bikers mostly sports categories this is a bike to go or the RC as well but for some people biking is just a joyful ride with no stress and adrenaline then you will get pain in your back and wrist. I made the best decision by choosing this bike now I can upgrade directly to Aprilia 457 and I will be comfortable on it as well, all thanks to the r15m because there are no other bikes that have that aggressive riding stance. Just reconsider your decisions before reading all the bike reviews, what type of rider are you?.. if you can find it out then making the choice is pretty easy.
Ride like there's no tomorrow! And ride safe! Thanks for your patience.

1)Maintain your bike properly such as 2)Chain lube twice a month atleast or it gets rusted 3)On time oil changes would be great for your bikes engine life 4)Mostly i use a octane 95 petrol which will make your engine corrosion resistant and thats not the only reason, this bike comes with a high 11.6:1 compression ratio so using 95 petrol makes more sense 5) change the brake pads under 10k km if you want a crisp braking performance which i did and saw the difference in the braking performance 6) if planning to change the exhaust go with the original or atleast tune the ecu properly before installing it not to mention the aftermarket filter. 7) change the chain sprocket after 13k km it is not necessary but the sprockets won't stay long.

    Jibin Sk

Performance is very good and very smooth while riding. Once it reaches 7000 RPM, VVA mode is next level, with Good road presence and eye-catching style. It looks very elegant and aggressive. When continuously riding in traffic, I feel pain in my wrist, which is a disadvantage other than that well-packed motorcycle. Last, but not least, city rides are 45kmpl, and highway rides are 50kmpl.

  • A Premium Two-Wheeler with Performance and Style”

    Kartavaya Suryavanshi

Here is a detailed review of the Yamaha R15 V4:
The Yamaha R15 V4 is a popular motorcycle that has been well-received by riders and critics alike. According to a review, the R15 V4 has a peppy and refined engine, sharp handling, and premium fit and finish. The motorcycle has a tall seat height of 815mm, but with a narrow fuel tank and a taper to the seat, it feels low once seated and will make newer and shorter riders feel at home. The R15 V4's build quality has improved drastically compared to its predecessor, the V3. The black plastics are of good quality, and the buttons on the switchgear look and feel premium as well. The R15 V4's aggressive-looking front end features twin LED DRLs with a projector headlamp in between, and the fairing design has been tweaked with more creases for better aerodynamics. The tail section is now sharper than before, completing the R15’s new avatar ¹.
The Yamaha R15's pride and joy has always been its extremely responsive chassis and a formidable 155cc engine that has been planted in several other two-wheelers from the Iwata-based manufacturer. The R15 V4 continues with a Delabox frame with an engine that churns out 18.1bhp and 14.2Nm ¹. The engine, with its VVA tech, has been tuned to give the best of both worlds ¹. On our test route, the Yamaha R15 V4 returned an impressive fuel efficiency figure of 51.4kmpl; a result of the VVA tech and tractable nature of its engine.
In conclusion, the Yamaha R15 V4 is a great motorcycle that offers excellent performance, handling, and fuel efficiency. However, it may not be the most comfortable ride for longer journeys, and the pillion seat has little space to offer. The motorcycle is priced a bit high, but it is worth the investment for those who are looking for a premium two-wheeler.

  • A Premium Two-Wheeler with Performance and Style”

    1. Purchasing Experience: The Yamaha R15 V4 purchasing experience is significantly influenced by the dealership you select. Dealerships for Yamaha typically provide a seamless shopping experience. Don't forget to ask about financing choices, color options, and any current specials or discounts.
    2. Riding Experience: The lively and nimble riding experience of the Yamaha R15 series is well-known. If the V4 model lives up to the heritage of its forebears, it should provide a performance-focused riding position that is both comfortable and accommodating. It should work well for both spirited interstate rides and city commutes. It is anticipated that the V4 engine will provide a decent mix of power and fuel efficiency.
    3. Information regarding Appearance, Performance, etc.
Looks: The sporty and aggressive design of the R15 series is well known. A complete fairing, twin-eye LED headlamps, and crisp lines are to be expected. Updated appearance and improved aerodynamics could be seen in the V4 variant.
    5. Benefits and Drawbacks:
Positives: An aggressive and sporty design Excellent results, particularly in the 150–200cc range
Cutting-edge features including improved braking systems, upside-down forks (if applicable), and a fully digital instrument cluster good fuel economy for the class
Cons: Limited comfort for the pillion, typical of sportbike designs
The cost of maintenance could be a little bit more than for commuting bikes.
Not everyone can ride in a sporty stance, especially on longer rides.

Its an eye feast really. R15v4 has literally amazing looks, awesome and good performance. Wherever you go people will watch you.
Never owned a bike like this. This is my first bike which looks like a super bike, and the best thing is that the speedometer has some amazing features like email, messaging and engine heat percentage.

Try to protect the plastic part by using ceramic coat or by laminating, because there is a chance for scratches to appear on the top of the tank.

  • A Premium Two-Wheeler with Performance and Style”
