The Bold looks. She's definitely an eye-turner wherever I take her. When you move around the road, you definitely know that people are giving you the looks (spoiler alert: not the ladies. but the guys, oh they do)
The Confidence she gives you. Whether you cruise around or race around, she holds her ground solid. No way she's gonna push you down.
RE still sticks around with 'Ride by Cable'. Meaning:- She's sensitive. Even a small twist at the throttle and you get an instantaneous response. No lag, no fuss. And the engine always seems to have something more to give even when you are pushing her hard.
The exhausts. The OEM ones were fine but don't have that oomph. The Red Roosters bring out that roar when you need it. Those can be loud when you want them to be, but they can also be quiet at those checkpoints if you know what I mean (wink, wink). Still, be responsible people. There are sound limits for a reason.
The Vredestein Tyres. I'm glad that RE finally decided to upgrade the tires on their 650 Twins lineup. More on this is in the review section below.
    It's a GT 650. That's enough for a reason.

Purchasing the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 was a seamless process. The dealership staff were knowledgeable and helpful, guiding me through the options and ensuring a smooth transaction. The bike's pricing felt reasonable for the features offered. The riding experience on the GT 650 is exhilarating. The 650cc parallel-twin engine provides a perfect balance of power and smoothness. Whether cruising on the highway or navigating through city streets, the bike handles exceptionally well. The riding posture, inspired by classic café racers, adds to the overall thrill. The Continental GT 650 stands out with its classic yet sporty design. The retro-inspired fuel tank, clip-on handlebars, and sculpted seat contribute to its timeless appeal. The bike's performance is impressive, offering a punchy acceleration and a satisfying exhaust note. The instrument cluster is informative, and the build quality is robust. Servicing the GT 650 has been relatively hassle-free. Royal Enfield's service centers are accessible, and the maintenance costs are reasonable. Regular upkeep is essential, but the overall reliability of the bike has minimized unexpected issues. The Classic design with a modern touch. Very Smooth and powerful 650cc engine. Responsive handling and enjoyable on various terrains. The prices are competitive within its segment. Well-built and durable construction. It also has an aggressive riding posture that may not be comfortable for everyone. Limited pillion comfort for longer rides. Some reports of minor quality control issues (e.g., occasional vibrations). Fuel efficiency could be better. In conclusion, the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 is a charismatic motorcycle that successfully blends classic aesthetics with contemporary performance. The overall ownership experience, from purchase to maintenance, has been positive, making it a compelling choice for riders seeking a distinctive and enjoyable ride.

It's a great and budget-friendly cafe racer bike that is very popular on road trips and also local riding, the way of looking royal enfield continental GT650 is a killer machine, a nice overall, and the shifting gear and road task is way better than other bikes, but problem is pillion, it is a single riding cafe racer bike, fine with the 650 cc machine but royal Enfield manufacturer need to set them as soon as possible and remanufacture a safe and comfortable bike to be the best cafe racer bike and that will be really happened I guess

  • Honest review for the all specially for the Family Man who wants to Powerful ride

    Debjit

This is an honest review of the new continental Gt 650 (2023 Model) and I have not preferred any brand while writing this review. This review is for all, basically, a family man who needs a powerful but not a Chapri kind of bike. As belong to a middle-class family, a person does want to drive a powerful bike with a good road presence(you can say a superbike) but to afford it, is not a pocket-friendly matter. At that moment Royal Enfield offers you the Cont. GT 650. I have researched for over 6 months about which bike to own. First I looked for another bike from the 650 segment with a two-cylinder engine setup, but three things prevented me from buying it, 1. cost of the bike 2. Pillion sit height 3. Maintenance cost. Being a husband my wife and being a father my daughter does not like the (KTM kind of) heavily elevated pillion seat. So I need to look for the low-height pillion sit option, with plenty amount of power. By noting all the points I consider this bike. Though it is a naked cafe racer ( As earlier, I only like sports kinds of Motorcycles) it attracts me because of its road presence and chunky powerful engine and comfortable single pillion seat. Yes, still in 2023, it does have good public attention. I do Sunday rides with a group of people and trust me it has respect on the Road. Now comes to some pros and Cons.
    Pros:
    1. The power, it is easy to cross 100 km/hr even if you do not notice it when it crosses the speed
    2. it has a really good Road presence
    3. New tubeless tyres are really good
    4. Dual Channel ABS is working so that you have more confidence while breaking
    5. you can have a superbike kind of feeling while riding it
    6. Smooth Double Cylinder engine it offers within this cost ( on the road is 450000)
    Cons:
    1. Before 1st servicing it gives you only 10-11 km/l mileage after that max to 25 km/l which I think would be better as the Honda 650 gives the same mileage with 4 cylinders.
    2. The engine hits too much, but after servicing it will get down but not that much.
    3. Instrument Cluster may have more information with its round classic looking style
    4. Should have a double stand, which you miss, at the time of oil changing
    5. Nowadays even low-budget bikes offer LED tail and indicators, which also misses
    6. The rear tyre shall have at least 140 sections ( currently it is 130 sections)
    7. And last but not least the weight. I am 6ft in height with a weight of 85 kg still, I have to fight to handle it while the bike is parked.

  • An aesthetic bike

    Arbaz

Buying experience: to be honest I have not purchased this bike yet, but sure I will be purchased it soon.!
Riding experience: I took a small ride experience, my first ride was not so good because of the first ride it was.;)
    Looks details and performance:
As I said this is an aesthetic bike(an england brand) ! this bike comes in the mid of mid-section. This bike contains all manly necessary things. And personally, I love this model because I like unique things, so the bike for me is quite unique model because the cafe racer look makes it more unique from other normal vehicles. And the power of the bike is a bonus in this price range(47bhp,52nm torque).
    Service and maintenance:
The bike servicing cost is currently good as I am seeing from the last 1-year people's experience.
    Pros and cons
Cons: the bike is very heavy as I felt for the first time, to be honest
2nd is no tubeless tyre and alloy wheel
    3rd is the heating issue.
4th is the colour combination is not so good, as there are many colours in this world
    Pros:
    Rest is everything is best
Like -looks, exhaust sounds, the sitting posture of the angle of 65 degrees, fly-by sounds, public reaction, full of metal things, and unique sounds from other brands.
That's it from my side :)
Thanks a lot hope I will buy it asap.

  • It's an ideal choice for cafe racer enthusiasts.

    Gopinath Panda

    1. Best bike. The all-new Continental GT 650 is a remarkable bike with a massive 648cc engine delivering 47 bhp and 52 Nm of torque. It's an ideal choice for cafe racer enthusiasts, especially considering its price point below 4 lakhs and the extensive Royal Enfield service network across India.
    2. It may not be the most comfortable motorcycle for long rides.
    3. Royal Enfield's legendary parallel twin-cylinder engine, backed with an air/oil-cooled parallel twin configuration.
    4. The estimated maintenance cost of Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 for 5 years is Rs 13,510.
    5. pros:-
Refined engine with extremely likable performance.
Great looks, and balanced handling complementing its sporty design.
    Accessible performance, affordable price.
Cons:-Committed riding position not suitable for long rides.
The instrument console could have had more data and information.
Lack of tubeless tires on stock wheels.

    Tips for other riders

Overall, the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 offers classic styling, decent performance, and customization options at an affordable price point, but it may come with some trade-offs in terms of refinement and build quality. Potential buyers should consider their priorities and preferences carefully before making a decision. Tips for Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 One essential maintenance tip for GT 650 owners, or any motorcycle riders, is to regularly check tire pressure and tread wear. Proper tire maintenance not only ensures safety but also enhances handling and fuel efficiency. Inspect the tires before each ride and adjust the pressure according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Additionally, monitor tread wear and replace tires when the tread depth becomes too shallow to maintain adequate traction, especially in wet or slippery conditions. Proper tire care is essential for a smooth and enjoyable riding experience while promoting overall safety on the road.

Tips for Royal Enfield Continental GT 650
One essential maintenance tip for GT 650 owners, or any motorcycle riders, is to regularly check tyre pressure and tread wear. Proper tyre maintenance not only ensures safety but also enhances handling and fuel efficiency. Inspect the tyres before each ride and adjust the pressure according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Additionally, monitor tread wear and replace tyres when the tread depth becomes too shallow to maintain adequate traction, especially in wet or slippery conditions.
