The Urban Club is the most affordable Vespa in the company’s portfolio. The scooter features a blacked-out treatment for components like mirrors, grab rail, wheels and brake levers.
In terms of looks, the scooter follows the same design language as the other Vespa models with a full steel body construction offering a sleek look. Powering the scooter is a 124cc, three-valve engine that registers 9.8bhp of power and 10.9Nm of peak torque in its BS6 guise, which is slightly higher than the BS4 iteration. The motor comes mated to a CVT gearbox.
The Urban Club comes equipped with aircraft-derived single-side arm front suspension with anti-dive characteristics while the rear gets a dual-effect hydraulic shock absorber. The scooter rides on 10-inch alloy wheels shod with 90/100 profile tubeless tyres. For braking, the Urban Club employs drum brakes at both ends equipped with Combined Braking System (CBS).
Vespa offers the Urban Club with the choice of four colour options - Azzurro Provenza, Maze Grey, Glossy Yellow and Glossy Red. In its segment, the Urban Club competes against the Suzuki Access 125, Hero Maestro Edge 125, TVS NTorq 125 and Honda Grazia in the country.
