After researching for long and test driving many bikes I finally booked dominar 400 in Ahmedabad. The booking process was very and test drive vehicle was available every time. Even before booking I test ride to confirm my decision. The waiting was about 20 days in my case. I brought this bike from gallops Bajaj. From booking to delivery everything went smooth. I got bike delivered in 2018 October. After bring home I noted that abs light didn't turn off even when bike is running. I went to Bajaj next day and they said it requires an ecu update and next day my bike was given back and now the problem was resolved. The bike performed really good and smooth. For first 1000 km's it was mentioned to not exceed 60 km's per hour. After 1st service this restrictions was removed. The service process was fast and first free service coasted me 1200 Rupee's. After the service I went to Jaisalmer with this bike and bike performed great even will pillion and fully loaded bags and everything. The bike glides at 100-110kmph. But between 5000-6000 rpm its vibrated a little too much specially on handle bar and pillion footrest. Every time i went to service it never coasted more than 1500 Rs. But as my bike crossed 20k km's . The bike needs some parts changes which will cost you around 10-15 thousand depending on parts. The complete chain sprocket needs to replace. Brake pads will be changed and filters etc. will be changed. All in all. My 2.5 years of bike and clocking over 20000 km's. I am very happy with bike and will recommend specially after 2019 update bike has improved a lot.
Tips for Bajaj Dominar 400
Lubing chain after 500kms. Coolant top up after 500kms required. Oil change after 10000 km's

This bike offers better power in an affordable price. Cokes with a 400cc engine which is ideal for longer rides. Make sure to equip the tourer kit only when it's needed and remove it for city usage which can offer better power delivery and control. This bike offers better riding comfort than other competitors on long trips.

Bajaj Dominar 400 review
Manoj
At this price point, Bajaj has done a great job with 40bhp reaching top speeds of 160-170km/h with excellent stability, loved the seat comfort and riding position, I loved everything about the D400 only two negatives that I feel is the braking, it’s not the best braking system for a heavily weighted motorcycle, and the instrument cluster is very raw and unattractive. However, I loved everything about the power, mileage (around 28-30), service costs, reliability, and design.

Beast - powerhouse on the wheel

I gave this title because this bike is very powerful and runs with great speed. It's called "Powerhouse on Wheels" because it gives power to its ride like giving power to its car. It also has a liquid-cooled engine which makes it efficient in terms of performance and durability. Additionally, its design and features make it stand out from other bikes in its class, making it a powerhouse on wheels.

Upgrades in Dominor 400 Performances

The Dominar 400 is one of the leading budget sport-touring motorcycles in India. It debuted in the motorbike market in 2019 and is one of the leading motorcycles in India. It is categorized as the most out-performing motorcycle in its segment.I am always impressed by Bajaj Dominar's results. The SOHC layout on offer surely helps in improving the refinement of the motor. Other major updates in the new Dominor 400 include upside-down forks, a double-barrel exhaust, a radial caliper on the front disk, and a new instrument cluster with a gear shift indicator.

Good bike for daily commuters as well as off-roading, the heavy engine gives you a good experience and takes you to another level of driving. Drive safely on roads and don't compete yourself with others in terms of useless showoffs. I am expecting more upgrades on this bike to give or feel another level of driving experience

Very good sports Tourer in budget

Dominar 400 especially after the UG model with E20 BS6 update which comes with a touring kit is very good value for money. The engine is adequately refined and the exhaust sounds good once you pick up the pace, Turning radius is however is larger due to the longer wheelbase which we get used to after a few kms of riding. A longer wheelbase and 190kg Kerby weight help in aiding the bike's stability in higher speeds above 80-100 kmph where it's cursing effortlessly. I do miss the centre stand though, The rest is all good about this bike just go for it.
