Now if you are a regular visitor of BikeWale, you will know that we had covered quite a products of Grand Pitstop in the past. This is a Haryana based startup who wants to provide one stop solution for all bike needs. A quick visit to their website reveals some interesting and practical products.
India is a vast country and these days most of the motorcyclists wants to cover the country on two-wheelers. To do this, you need to carry lots of luggage and that luggage needs a trusted luggage straps. Grand Pitstop has a pair and they sent us one to test it out.
Product details
The luggage straps that Grand Pitstop sells is around 173cms in length. It is adjustable. And it is claimed to secure oversized luggage. This is being made possible as the straps have good elasticity. And with its adjustable feature, the rider can easily adjust depending on his luggage requirement.
The luggage straps comes in a nicely packed pouch. There are a total of 4 straps – 2 shorts ones and 2 long ones. The short ones needs to be mounted on the heel plates or footpegs hangar or wherever you find good space. The long ones can either be mounted on the grab rail or on the after-market tail plate. Once the straps have been hooked, mount the luggage and simply buckle the straps. The adjustability feature is near the buckles. Once done, it is always a good idea to check if the luggage is moving around the seat.
We plan to test these straps over the next few months. We’ll do it on the Hero Xpulse, Royal Enfield Interceptor and the new Meteor 350 and even on some other commuter motorcycles.
