Introduction
Now just a few days ago, we introduced the Rynox Navigator Tank bag to all of you. That bag was all about lots of space, practicality and affordability. But there are a few motorcycles in the country like the Hero Xpulse that can hold only a small tank bag. The Magnapod was just too big for it. So we got one from Rynox which will be tested on my personal Hero XPulse.
Product Details
Let us first get the space out of the picture. The Navigator has a cargo space of 15-litres which is quite decent. In fact, when you see it for the first time, you’ll notice its compact dimensions but it manages to exhibit good space too. On the outside, there are two side pockets and one on the top with a transparent plastic cover. There’s also one handle to hold the bag. Below, there are three magnets that needs to be used to mount on a metal fuel tank. Also, when not in use, these magnets can be placed inside the flap. At the back, there’s a cargo net that can hold small things or maybe a pair of street gloves.
Now coming to the construction, the Navigator is made of the same 1680D polyester fabric that we see on the Magnapod. It is not waterproof, but comes with a rain cover. Other bits like YKK zippers and 3M reflective tapes have been used on this bag. The bag also comes with shoulder straps which makes is quite handy and purposeful.
We’ll be using the Navigator bag on a daily basis on the Xpulse and see how it performs. You should also note that, this bag doesn’t make sense for bikes that comes with plastic tank as it only comes with magnets and no other strap mounts.
