The KTM 390 Duke/RC 390 are plenty quick right out of the box. 43bhp and 33Nm of torque with just 170-odd kg to lug around, these KTMs offer more than enough performance for most enthusiasts. However, there will be a few who after putting a few thousand km on the odo will find the need for more power and Racedynamics has just the answer for those power-hungry souls. 

What it is, is a universal plug-in system with which one can control fueling and ignition with advanced in-house developed algorithms but is extremely easy to install.  This ECU is completely programmable, and comes pre-mapped with optimal calibration for stock and mildly modified vehicles that increases power, efficiency, top speed and betters throttle response.

Once plugged in, it enhances ignition timing resolution for increased overall gains and transient response which in simple terms results in increased torque and power. Racedynamics claim the power is bumped up to 47 bhp while the torque increases to almost 37Nm. Now these are impressive figures.

If you are the tuner kind and keep tinkering with your bike, the powertronic ECU can also be used to control fuel delivery. You also get bike specific maps to handle extensive modifications. You also get traction control and the ability to function in 'Stand Alone Trigger' mode to extend the revs beyond the stock ECU’s limits. 

The best part however is the installation. It is plug-and-play and comes bundled with everything you need to get going straight out of the box. The performance box will be installed on an RC 390.
