This is the best bike that money can buy under 1.7 lakhs. On paper, it doesn't feel any competitive but once you ride this bike, it gives you the most satisfying riding experience. I did a test ride on multiple bikes but this bike gave me the best riding experience. PROS:1. Excellent handling quality2. Excellent ride experience3. Decent performance according to 184cc engine4. Good for short riders. I am 5'3" and I can easily ride this bike with ease5. Excellent braking on both sides. 6. Good throttle response7. Good enough comfort for daily commuting. I travel 32 km daily for my college and I feel no pain riding on this bike. In fact, I enjoy riding this bike more.8. Excellent build quality.9. Excellent quality in every aspect10. Golden Upside-down fork manufactured by shows on the front suspension. Only a few bikes under 2 lakhs offer this quality suspension.11. One of the widest tires (on both front and rear sides) in the segment (under 2 lakhs) which provides excellent handling quality.12. Huge petal disk brake on both front and rear side which is calibrated by Nissin which provides excellent braking.13. Good instrument cluster with basic features.14. All LED setups. If that matters to you.15. And of course, amazing mileage compared to the performance it gives. On average, I get 50-55 kmpl.CONS:1. No dual-channel ABS. Only single-channel ABS.2. Stiff suspension setup. Although it improves handling quality.3. Not catchy exhaust note if that matters to you.4. Good engine refinement but not as good as Honda standards.5. Only Air-cooled engines.6. Poor headlight throw area. The brightness of the light is good though.7. Not catchy rearview mirror design.Overall you can buy this motorcycle without thinking too much about it. But it's better to have a test ride on this bike if this bike suits you or not.

Tips for other riders
Do wash and lube the chain between 500 km-1000 km at your own or any local garages. I did visit my nearby authorized service center and I feel cheated. They wash the chain with high-pressured water which will damage the O-rings in the chain and lubed it with used engine oil which will make a real mess with lots of dust and debris and provides very poor lubrication. Can't say about other Honda-authorised service centers. Also do adjust the headlight alignment as soon as you buy this motorcycle. And also adjust the pressure in both tires. The showroom fills the tire with air more than it requires which results in more stiffer riding experience. The optimal pressure for the front it 25psi and for the back 29psi.

Over all experience is good, and comfortable to ride, I ride my bike daily about 55 km and it feels great to have a bike like this, some will say this is fake and that my bike is giving mileage of more than 45 km per liter. It is great to have a bike with 180cc power, easy to handle, and easy for the daily commute, with this mileage.

Honda cb hornet- a glimpse

The price range of the bike is decent. The bike engine is normal Honda engine but comes with a sporty look. It cost around 1.1 to 1.2 lakhs at the time of purchase. Riding experience- the ride experience is satisfactory. It is best for daily commute as well as highway travel across cities. It requires maintenance at scheduled kms whether travelled or no. First 3 servicing are free by Honda. and brakes are good and prevent stalling the bike. The above can be considered as pros. Cons include the limit speed of 105-110. Above it the bike cannot hold. The seating space is little as compared to other bikes.

A budget performance bike with a big bike feel to it.
Himangshugogoi
Good buying experience,Nice to ride, will give you a big bike feel,0-100 is pretty quick, but the comfortable cruising speed is around 6400rpm in 5th gear which is 85-90. As soon as you cross 110 kph the bike tends to feel stressed. The bike is super stable at this speed and confident aspiring. I choose this bike for the usd and Engine refinement is the key highlight.City riding and daily commute are good as the bike weighs only 142 kg kerb, which makes it easy to filter through the traffic the reason I would choose a motorcycle over a car in traffic.Even after all the premium feel this bike has to offer service and maintenance of this bike is easy on your pocket. Use chain spray after every 300-400 km ride and keep it clean. Pros.-looks-usd feels premium-gives you a big bike feel-stability-engine refinement.Cons-plastic quality and fit and finish could have been better.-headlight is not for a night ride on the highway with speed.-the rearview mirrors are useless-the chassis looks so basic, could have used two rods in front instead of a single.-the metal parts like the muffler catches rust soon. The paint quality on those metal parts could have been better.Last, I hope honda will not discontinue this bike, instead, they will upgrade this bike into a more premium package, if they discontinue this bike as they did with the legendary cbf stunner which was the previous bike I will surely not visit a honda showroom again in future.

It's a attractive machine with average capabilities i would say it's a bike for those who expect better style , comfort and fuel economy. It's not for the people who expect performance i mean mainly not for "duke , r15 & ns" guys. About bike 1. Good looking , good ergonomics but bike seems kinda small.2. Good comfort for the single rider, though the bike has a split seat and length of the seat is shorter and it's slightly uncomfortable for the pillion with bag or backpack on the long ride. 3. Engine is butter smooth and initial pick up is good, can ride 150 kms in a single stretch without any stress in hands or body.4. I'm getting 40 - 42 kmpl in city and 45 - 47 in highways 5. The pillion seat height and footrest is quite high for the ladies who sit sideways.

Best bike for city commute.Lightweight (142kgs) makes handling very easy. Smooth refined engine trademark Honda. This looks like a beast and is easily one of the best looking bikes in the parking lot. 110/70 & 140/70 tyres looks awesome and gives really good balance and stability.Brakes are really good, you can almost completely depend on the front brakes.Mileage of 40 around.Smooth gear shifts. And excellent torqueLow and mid range performance is best in the class. You tend to feel the absence of a 6th gear but that's ok unless you are buying this bike to race on a daily basis. Initial issues described here like engine heating and noise from rear brakes (just clean the disk) and all are eliminated after 1st service. Some bikes may tend to have a lockset issue, which again resolves in a month or so on its own or then a new lockset can be installed. I would definitely recommend for a smooth makkhan experience and a pleasurable riding.

Had a good experience with the bike, The seating comfort is somewhat disappointing but the pickup and Mileage are very good. Maintenance cost also is very low. Good bike on a budget. With a diamond-type frame, USD forks in the front, and a mono-shock in the rear, the Hornet 2.0 provides a balanced and comfortable ride.•It handles corners with stability, thanks to its lightweight frame and well-distributed weight, and is also easy to maneuver in city traffic.•The seating posture is upright and slightly aggressive.

Very Bad Experience with Spare parts and service.Takes months for regular consumables like brake Pads. Given the bike for repair about a month before but not get bike repaired yet. After calling to the service center, only got the answer " Spare Parts not received". Even after writing a mail to Honda Consumer Care not get any positive reply from the Service center or Honda Motorcycles Co.

Superb riding experience

Average machine
