- 2 new cruiser under development
- Could be launched under Harley brand too
Chinese motorcycle manufacturer QJMotor is rumoured to be working on two new 700cc cruisers. And these bikes are also expected to be sold under the Harley-Davidson brand.
Recently, two design sketches were leaked that revealed the brand’s intentions. The first picture clearly showed a cruiser whereas the second sketch is of a bagger. Both the motorcycles seem to be developed using the same platform – that’s why the engine cover, chassis and even the chain drive – are all similar.
The 693cc parallel-twin engine that is expected to power these cruisers could be derived from CF Moto’s 700CL-X. This brand too is owned by QJMotor and has a range of motorcycles already on sale in major countries.
We can expect the Chinese models to be ready later this year and can expect Harley-Davidson to have its iteration ready sometime next year.
