Honda has unveiled six new bikes for 2013 at the EICMA in Italy including the three all-new models powered by 500cc parallel twin engine. The lineup at EICMA 2012 comprises of the CBR500R, CBR500F, CBR500X, CBR600RR, Goldwing F6B and retro-styled CB1100.
The engine for the CBR500 range is 500cc developing 54bhp for unrestricted markets and 47bhp in restricted markets like Europe. The three different versions of the range are to target different buyers – CBR500R for sportbike buyers, 500F for streetbike users and 500X for touring enthusiasts.
The CBR600RR is the biggest surprise in the list. The new bike gets better suspension, improved aerodynamics and brilliant new Repsol paint job. The Goldwing is also updated for 2013, along with new retro-styled CB1100.
