After unveiling the exquisite V4 RR and V4 SS superbikes, Norton has now taken the wraps off the 2017 Dominator Naked café racer.
The Dominator Naked is based on the Domiracer prototype, which is a café racer-styled track bike with a loud MotoGP exhaust. The Dominator Naked though is road-legal and has been moderated on different levels to make it production feasible. What sets this bike apart from the standard Dominator is its high quality finish. The frame is stripped to bare metal and the other components sport a bare steel finish with several layers of lacquer protecting them from weather. The aluminium petrol tank is hand-made and has been sanded to give it a matte finish. Bits of carbon-fibre contrast beautifully with the rest of the bodywork.
The Dominator Naked is powered by a 961cc parallel twin engine which delivers 80bhp. Suspension duties are handled by Ohlins units, while braking hardware is supplied by Brembo. If you were heartbroken on missing out on the limited-edition Norton V4 RR, the Dominator Naked might just be the bike for you.
