Suzuki showed off its upcoming mini-Strom at the company’s big-ball bash in Japan. The motorcycle that was showcased by Suzuki looked to be production ready state.
The bike is wrapped around the same 248cc, inline-twin, liquid-cooled, SOHC motor that powered the Inazuma to 24bhp. However, this motorcycle will use a different state of tune. The new baby Strom has been given a serious makeover to suit Suzuki’s updated V styling. The 250 also gets a full digital dash and complete range of luggage available in the Suzuki after-market range.
There is not much more we know about this Suzuki as of now. The specifications, pricing and target markets should be interesting. From the looks of it, 2017 appears to be the year of mini adventure bikes. With the BMW, Kawasaki and Suzuki on their way, other manufacturers are likely to follow soon. Recently, KTM officials confirmed that its mini adventure bike – 390 Adventure – will hit the market in 2019.
