MV Agusta has been on a roll with a number of launches and exclusive motorcycles unveiled this year. The latest in the line of the company’s special edition models is the Dragster RC.
The RC (Reparto Corse) treatment is evident on the motorcycle thanks to the trademark white and red paint scheme with green accents. What is unusual is the SC Project exhaust, an update over the outgoing model's stock triple exhaust pipes and black rims. Like all MV Agusta RC bikes, the Dragster also sports the number 37 decal to mark the 37 victories in motorcycle racing. It also gets red rims.
Under the skin, the bike does not receive any update, and it continues to use a 798cc in-line three cylinder engine that produces 138bhp and 87Nm of torque. The rider aids include four riding modes, ABS, eight-level traction control and two-way quickshifter.
The 2018 MV Agusta Dragster RC is limited to 350 units and will be unveiled at the 2017 EICMA this November. And while we have been getting RC versions of the Brutale 800, F3 and the F4, it is unlikely that the Dragster RC will be sold in the Indian market.
