Suzuki will launch the GSX-S1000 and its faired version, the GSX-S1000F with new paint schemes in international markets, this month. The streetfighter GSX-S1000 will get a matte black paint scheme with red graphics. The faired version will get a new white colour.
The new colour for the GSX-S1000 accompanies the red/black and black/blue colour and replaces the blue paint job. The new white paint job on the GSX-S1000F will be available along with the black/blue and black/red colour option.
The bikes feature a 999cc in-line four cylinder engine that got a power bump in 2017. The engine now produces 145bhp at 10,000 rpm and 106Nm at 9,500 rpm. The 2017 update also saw the bikes getting a slipper clutch along with the black painted levers and foot controls. The faired GSX-S1000F also got a tinted windscreen.
As is usually the case, we can reasonably expect the new models to launch around the festive season in the Indian market. As per sources, the BS-lV versions of these Suzukis haven’t yet reached dealerships.
