Honda has updated its two-wheeler portfolio in China with the launch of the 2020 CBF190X. The motorcycle is priced at 16,380 yuan (approximately Rs 1.78 lakh*).
The model features a touring focussed design that is emphasised by a windscreen at the front, tall-set handlebar and a semi-fairing design. The road-biased nature of the CBF190X is evident through the 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends. The feature list on the motorcycle includes LED headlight, digital instrument cluster, single-piece step-up seat and a bash plate. The colour palette comprises of five options – red, black, white, grey and tri-colour (white base paint with red and blue graphics).
The hardware on the motorcycle comprises of upside-down telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock to perform the shock absorption tasks. Anchoring department includes petal-type disc brakes on both wheels while the safety net is provided by a single-channel ABS.
Mechanical specifications on the 2020 CBF190X include a 184.4cc, single-cylinder motor that produces 16.6bhp of power at 8,000rpm and 16.3Nm of maximum torque at 7,000rpm.
The Indian launch of the CBF190X is not likely to happen.
In other updates, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has temporarily removed several products from its website. The company should bring back the products on its website once it launches their respective BS6-compliant versions.
