Kawasaki has updated its Indonesian product portfolio with the launch of the W175 café. The retro-style, single-cylinder motorcycle was launched at IDR 33,800,000 (about Rs 1.58 lakh).
In terms of design, the 2020 Kawasaki W175 features a round headlight that is accompanied by a body-coloured fly-screen at the front. Elements such as fork gaiters, round rear-view mirrors, tank pads, dual-tone saddle with a ribbed seat cover and wire-spoke wheels further enhance the retro looks of the W175. The rear of the seat gets a black finish to mimic a cowl design. The colour options include three choices – Black, Orange and Silver.
The W175 features budget-friendly hardware such as conventional telescopic front forks, preload-adjustable twin-sided rear springs and a drum brake at the back. Anchoring power at the front wheel comes from a disc brake.
Mechanical specifications include a 177cc, single-cylinder motor that produces 12.9bhp of power at 7,500rpm and 13.2Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. The engine is linked to a five-speed gearbox.
