The Stage 3 of the ongoing 2021 Dakar Rally concluded with Bas Dakar KTM Racing Team’s Skyler Howes leading the provisional overall rankings. Howes was closely followed by Xavier De Soultrait (+28 seconds), HT Rally Raid Husqvarna Racing and Toby Price (+52 seconds), RedBull KTM Factory Team. The third stage of the challenging rally, which stayed in Wadi Ad-Dawasir, comprised a 629km loop that included a timed special of 403km.
Sherco Rally Team’s Rui Goncalves (+12’19”) finished in the top 10, securing the ninth spot. Lorenzo Santolino (+14’56”) and Harith Noah (+23’18”) took the 13th and 27th spots, respectively at the end of Stage 3. Hero MotoSports Team Rally’s Joaquim Rodrigues (+21’02”) stood 19th while Sebastian Buhler (+39’16”) took the 24th position. CS Santosh (+01:36:52) stood 34th in the overall ranking at the end of Stage 3.

In the next stage, the rally will move out of the Wadi Ad-Dawasir to the capital city of Riyadh. It will be the longest stage of the rally, covering 81km, including the transport section. The timed special will be relatively shorter at 337km.
